tshirt2k
I have a set of Infinity Kappa 65.5cs Components that i want to fit into my gti. I'm a bit confused on how to fit the tweeters in the dash and still get good soond. I have two spare dash grilles with the old tweets removed. Should i Just glue the new one into the vacant holes in the grilles? What about getting the right angles for sound staging etc ,Does this matter? What have others done? :? :!:
Tigz™
Dude the only way to answer this question mate is to try it.Some systems will sound great with the tweeters mounted lower down.Others will like the standard locations.Wire them up, and with some bluetac try the tweeter in diffrant loactions, see which sounds the best.Theres no right or wrong answer to this unfortunatly. Max
The standard place i think is quite good. You can fire them off the window. But as Andi says, every speaker will sound different so try different postions.
