What tyres you guy's running on your 15x8's?

Ive ordered 195/45/15 but thinking it wont be enough on the front to stop big rubbing?

Anyone running 185/45/15 on a 15x8?

Thanks in advance people.

Im pretty low on coilovers and going to be running Schmidt Modernlines when they arrive on Wednesday.

It is a GTi, pretty low on FK's.

I've ordered 195/45/15 but keep looking at the Schmidts on GTis and looks like im going to get big rubbing on front end...

Would a 185 be better on the fronts and leave the backs on a 195?

Thank you. :)

Chris260 used to run quite low on Modernlines with 195/45's, but he got a fair bit of scrubbing.

Rolled arches might be your best bet.

I'd prefer to run 185's at the narrowest on an 8, but that limits you to Nankangs. I plan to stick to 195's from now on, 165's are a bit too much I think.

The narrower you are, the more clearance you'll have, just depends how far you want to take it.

Ill stick with 195/45/15 that ive ordered.

See how I get on, going away on August 6th, so ill scrub for a couple of weeks and then leave it with bodyshop or whatever, tell them to stop the rubbing. LOL
