Hey peeps..

Steering is slightly to the left when my wheels are straight and

sometimes when braking hard steering rocks.

Car is not lowered all standard.

Is this just a case of tracking ..?

Any ideas..?

Rocking steering when braking - could well be warped brake discs, standard ones have a tendancy to do that.

pulling to the left - yuh thats your tracking.

Definitely agree with Casper - just needs tracking sorting for the pulling left problem - mine was £20 to do. Saves £££ on your tyres too as they will wear evenly. I think I've got warped discs or unevenly worn discs - I can hear them scrape unevenly sometimes and you can feel it when braking - braking feels better then worse then better in the space of a few seconds as you come to a stop. Didn't realise this was a common thing - new discs...£££...aaaagh!

Is it actually pulling to the left or just the steering wheel is slightly to the left when going straight?

Id get the tracking checked as a matter of course, but make sure your steering wheel isnt straight. Often when garages adjust tracking they only adjust one side, which means your steering wheel wont be central anymore, but the tracking would/should be fine.

Either way, your tracking needs adjusting to correct the steering wheel. :)
