HarryB
probably not the best of discussions on a lupo forum but...A nice mk2 golf driver has sprung up for sale, lowered, BBS, exhaust...£700has a GTI interior and looks very nice on the outside.I'd be going from a '97 clio 1.2Only thing is, I'll definitely have to move insurance companies so I'll lose the 6months of NCB accrued... and the golf has 180,000 mileswould you? cardaft
Why would you need to move insurance companies?Well i probably would as the clio wouldnt be my choice, although the golf has done a fair mileage but they all seem to have done Atleast if it goes wrong you have your lexus! HarryB
have to move companies as they are being very off about the mods. They are hardly drastic...but they quoted me almost £1300 fully comp... had to laugh.

HarryB
Haha, bring on the Clio hate... I didn't pick it... I was GIVEN it... so I'm sure my lovely Gran hated it, too Hmm.. possibly correct, got a year out of uni next year...perhaps too eager to jump ship when I could have a nice mound of cash next year. HarryB
Haha...my dad has it as a company car, but he doesn't even go to work anymore, just works from home, mostly. So it's pretty awesome for me, passed my test and drove an IS200 then we got the IS250, soon the Jag XF. Police don't like it, though.

HarryB
If I was to insure myself on the Lexus, be about £950 last time I looked, for fun. It's the car that's insured, not me, so anybody can drive it, thankfully.
