starbank
What do you think?. It's also in this weeks Auto Express. I like the new nose. Back end is just like the new Golf though which I'm still not sure about. Apparantly it's going to come with a 2.0l 140bhp engine in 2005. Look forward to seeing that. Snoopy
Why do they refuse to make a proper small hot hatch to rival the Civic `Type-R`/Clio 182?If they shoved the 2.0 Turbo unit they use in the new Golf GTI, sorted out the styling a bit to make it look sporty, and priced it in the £`15-16k` bracket, they'd have a real contender.140bhp in a car that size is gonna be slower than the Lupo style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />. The only real hot hatch they've brought out recently is the Golf R32, and that cost £25k!
tdwindustries
it looks a bit like the horrible new lupo IMO
bossjohnc
Edit: Pic removed as already posted!I actually quite like it... not really in the spirit of the polo though, a bit golf like as you say.

Snoopy
But they don't follow that. Seat doesn't make a particularly sporty Ibiza yet (some are coming, but even they are hardly groundbreaking), and the Golf R32 is (was) a far more capable and sporty car than than the 2WD Leon Cupra R.
