There's just something about them...small but perfectly formed! I'm chuffed that I've found a whole forum of people who like them as much as me (my mum can't see what all the fuss is about...). Not sure whether to get a 1.0, 1.4, 1.4TDi or 1.7SDi! Decisions decisions! I've got my eye on a nice TDi at the moment...fuel economy is very important to me, being a student . Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 Hi and welcome,TDi would seem the place to be, cheap tax and fuelcosts and loads of torque so much fun-ness whilst cruising.Not sure about insurance, but I'm sure someone will be along to advise further.1.0 is cool around town, but a bit light on the steering at speeds and though it cruises along well enough, struggles on long uphill stretches.
