redlupopaul Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 my lupo keeps cutting out it always does it from cold but when its warm its ok. my temp sender unit doesnt give a reading any more could this be the problem or is it the throttle body that need replacing its starting to get on my nerves and i cant be botherd wasting money with vw when i could maybe fix it by myself. can anyone help me? have u experienced this problem? L119 UPO Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 Does it cut out at low revs ? ie. when your driving along it's fine, but when you come to a crawl and put the clutch in it dies.If so, then it sounds like your ICV is all caked up with ****. Will need the throttle body cleaning out and maybe the coolant temp sensor replacing.As for a manual, not sure if Haynes ever did one cos I can never find one!
