Changing Spark plugs

Recommended Posts

Is yours a 1.0 ? If so then its probably going to use the Platinum ones.

These are "supposedly" a long life plug, but theres a lot of misconception about how long the plugs really should be in the car for.

Theres a possibility your running problem is caused by the plug having been in there for way too long! smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Also - Even tho halfords list those plugs, the part number isnt quite right...

it should be "BKUR6ET-10" on the majority of Lupo Petrol engines (Stock Code 2397)

if its the platinum ones it'll be "PZFR5D-11" (Stock Code 7968)

if its had bosch ones in, then they'll probably FR7DPP222U, If not, that'll be why its running like a spud sack... Although i'd recomend staying away from bosch plugs on V.A.G. Engines
