Guest lindy
Any one know how to remove the GTI headlights properly? I need to get one out for access to the wing cavity. (Slight ding that needs smoothing out!)I've tried taking the wheel arch liner out but can only get limited access.
Man3
I haven't had a look but chances are that you'll need to remove the bumper to get to some of the brackets. ???
Guest lindy
Hmmm. I was afraid of that. Guess I'll have to scrabble round underneath to see how it's all held together.

Lupo TDI
hello!!I hope I can help, although I've only a `non-GTI` Lupo: There should be 2 or 4 screws (probably Torx) in the wheel liner, that hold the bumper; then on mine there are 4 clips that keep the bottom of the bumper to the lower frontend of the car; you should see them if you go "under" your car; and then there's the biggest problem: I don't know how the GTI bumper is fixed near the grille, and there could be problems with the headlight washers. Mine is only clipsed to the frontend near the grille.Let us know :-)
