andyp Posted July 11, 2003 Report Share Posted July 11, 2003 only had my lupo gti since jan this year, noticed black rim mark in expansion tank so took back to dealers who then told that it looks like the head gasket has gone. car has only done 39k has anyone else had this prob? andyp Posted August 6, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 6, 2003 got my gti back from dealer after it taking them nearly two weeks to sort it, they replaced gasket, expansion tank, put new ht lead on as it was knackered, adjusted pass window as out of alignment and put new dash insert in. fingers crossed that nothing else will go wrong!!
