Bikerz
Ok time has come to buy one.I want a Sony one as i have lots of Memory Duo cards or are there other brands these cards fit in?I wont ever use it for video so dont worry about that. Im not the best photographer and wont be used to produce images to blow up onto paper (well i dont think so) just want somthing over 4MP and that will show me image on the camera. Any Advice? Where to buy(Ebay doesnt seem any cheaper style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> )?Found this so far, any good?http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpag...l?son-dscw5&P=1CheersSheldon
canonman
I got the sony T5 and is a lovely little camera but I wanted it in red but couldn't get hold of any style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />. I would say the S600 is a very nice camera and easy to use and a good price. We had one at work as a kit, printer and camera for £149 and was really easy to use. I would check out www.sonystyle.co.uk as they arn't bad prices. I also had a go wit hthe T9 lovely little camera abit heavy but is a nice bit of kit. The one you have picked is a big camera and is abit old so I would say you are better of getting the s600 at the same price.

Tigz™
How about a Sony Cybershot DSC-W12?I have this, and cant fault it.Takes stunning shots, even if your not a hot camera man (which Im not)http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.act...l+Still+CamerasDoes have manual settings, so you can learn how a camera works, but to be honest, 95% of the pics I take are done on the auto shot settings. This one is the same, only silver and a little cheaper.http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.act...l+Still+Cameras Edited July 2, 2006 by Tigz

Bikerz
Found this Andi http://www.buyacamera.co.uk/xsearch.asp?RecId=SONCA170&pt=f , closest I could find to the one you surgest to get a price for and this ones 6mp too.Anyone got a good place to buy from ? I still think i prefer the S600 as its 120 quid and 6MP. Snoop dont have a budget realy, less than 200 quid tho, and as im not the best phototgrapher anything resonable will do. dotdotdash
Do you have to get a Sony, cos you can get memory cards so cheep now.1gb sd card for £14That would open you up to a much greater choice of brands.
Bikerz
Dont have to be sony then if i can get cards that cheap, but want a well known brand, so sony it was as i have loads of memory duo carrds that go in psp
canonman
Stick with sony. Don't get a kodak they just look cheep but are easy to use. We sell alot of them at work (lol well it is a kodak shop) but I don't think much to them. Nikon digi's arn't bad either
montythemole
Well for my 2p I like my Pentax Optio S5 as it's tiny, smaller than some fixed lens ones, yet has a 3x optical zoom,5mp or think they do 6 now.You either get a digital camera to take wow photos like the inlaws Digital SLR, or you get one to take everywhere and take loads of good photos. Slip it in your pocket and forget about it.http://www.pentax.co.uk/product_details.ph...208&parentid=
