Tigz™
Hi mate.I have wind up windows, but the regulater is pretty much the same.I had this problem with both windows, was so stiff that my handles broke. They wont ajust or grease the regular under warrenty after 12 months. So the dealer ordered two new regulaters and replaced these under warrenty. It was Gilders VW at bramley.my reg is YM03 NVV.Hope thats some use to you. jonnycv
Mine's in the dealer today having this comfort close problem fixed for the 4th time. All they seem to do is spray some WD40 on the seal which works forabout a day. Going to take it to a different dealer if they have not fixedit this time.

DubDub
How strange...Mine has started doing this exact problem only last week, but thought it may have been down to my tints being fitted and the fitter breaking summat.Seems like a common prob.Single click sends it up half way then 3/4 back down. then if you press and hold "up" it goes but very slowly.... jonnycv
Well they seem to have fixed it by realigning the "frame and belts"However, it now goes up without that awful clanking sound.Hope this helps you guys.

Nicki
Yup, mine used to go half way down & then close itself, or half way up & then reopen itself.Took it back to the dealership under warranty.According to the job sheet, they took the window out, realigned and cleaned the frame & runners and then lubricated the entire mechanism... Touch wood, no problems since. Doesn't make any dodgy noises either.
