andyshann Posted July 1, 2019 Report Share Posted July 1, 2019 Hi all, Could anyone kindly let me know if the VW Polo rear axle fits the VW Lupo. My Daughter has only just bought a VW Lupo 1.4 Automatic (1998) as her first car and only had it two weeks. While she was driving, the bracket that holds the shock absorber has completely snapped off. It is rotten to the core and needs replacing. My question is this, the part that holds the bracket is a complete rear axle and I have been informed by the scrapyard that the VW Polo is the same axle as the lupo. Could you guys give me some info if this is true, because I am not sure and VW want £900 for a new rear axle. I would really appreciate any advice on the matter and thank you all in advance. Andy.
