mk2
Pop the ends off first, then it's a rotate up and towards you action, then down, pivoting along the lower front edge. Get a long torx tool in there to remove indicators and grille. The panel does flex a little. I'll take pics when i reassemble in a while. henry.0112
How do i pop the ends out when i cant get behind them or along the edge?
mk2
insert thin flat object, like butter knife. not sharp, just strong enough to gently open up a small gap you can spray silicone oil into... then you can direct warm air around the back with a hair dryer to soften the rubber clips. You need to simultaneously rotate the panel forward and down, while gently separating the two clips each side. So begin by working on each end where the panel attaches to the wings. Millimetre by millimetre...
