mk2 Posted October 4, 2016 Report Share Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) just going through my 2nd sdi after having recently bought it... there are some right numpties out there. its not that difficult to change a cam belt. Yes it is unbelievable. the mechanic must have completely lost it and simply ripped it clean off! Nice new belt fitted though and a new tensioner (incorrectly set...). Idler and water pump not replaced, but still smooth, so thought I'd leave them alone. Not a big job to change them later. Anyone have a new or spare one anywhere?
