Will Cheyney
I'm looking to space the rear wheels of my GTI out a wee bit to match the appearance of the default fronts.Having done some reading it appears as though there is a 20mm difference between the front and rear track (10mm each side). Am I right in assuming that if I get 10mm spacers for the rear then the match I'm after will be achieved? Or would 15mm be better? Does anyone have any experience trying to achieve the same thing? I don't want any risk of arch rubbing. The alloys I'm running are BBS RS814's. Size: 6.5J x15 / Offset: ET43 - exactly the same as Bathursts.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Silver!
I ran 20mm and got a bit of rubbing with 195/45/15 on Bathursts.Changed them for 17mm last year and not touched since. Definately looks better
Will Cheyney
Thanks Ray.I'm on 205 tyres so I think 17 will be too much. I'm just undecided between 10mm and 15mm.
