Bit of an odd one here.. AUC 54’ plate 1.0 MPI Arosa 124,xxx miles Its recently become really hesitant when setting off or putting your foot down. It’ll hesitate for a few seconds then pick up. Sometimes it’ll also just rev itself between 500-1000RPM. It also shakes sometimes at about 500rpms From what I’ve read on here most people say it’s either the HT LEADS, COIL PACK, or SPARK PLUGS. Plugs were done about 20k ago and gapped correctly. I am planning to change these soon and see if it changes anything. My main concern though is that there isn’t an EML on the dash when

So I've got a 1.0l lupo and being a mechanic and enthusiastic tinkerer, I feel the need to push it to its limits, and before people start saying but a gti or buy a 1.4 or engine convert it the point of this is to have fun an try to push the boundaries of this way to practice 1.0L. Any ideas would be great as to what to do. I've already gone for the standard of lowering and banded steels, however im feeling some forced induction coming along and feel that a supercharger is the better way to go for this, as turbo converting it may be stupid, I have access to a fabrications workshop and body-sho
hi everybody. was going along the motorway yesterday and my accelerator just hit the floor. recovery bloke came and it turns out the throttle cables snapped. always thought mine was elecrtric though cos there is no wire in the throttle body, but when you look up past the pedals i can see a snapped cable. got one on order from vw to collect tomorrow but does anyone have any clue of replacing it?? thanks! chris
