see what you mean! that would just be the pearl though in the paint! its a really funny colour in different lights! in this pic for an instance the area on the boot circled was sprayed at the same time as the rest of the car so is 100% the same colour and it is blended further down the boot pic of masking thankyou for the comments and i will be carfull in the snow! going to be driving like a angel as it needs the cam belt changing and dont want to tempt fate

Yay More piccies Ben popped over today as we havnt been over there in a few days of me working and ben working nights. He popped over and all is gooooooddd MOT Monday and im sure she will pass and then shes mine Here are some pics that ben took whilst he was over there.....

thankyou. if the car was done to top spec then it might as well be in the scrap yard tbh as it just wouldnt be worth it as far as resale value and the price of straight ones are concerned. i have a lot of car for little money as far as im concerned and i couldnt be happyer now i have the car i have wanted for so long thankyou for the comment

thats the pearl! its made up with a lot of pearl! not a colour you would think to find it but it does show in different lights as you say! very nice colour

The rest of paint is fine so there is no need really! All the bits that needed doing were on the drivers side so it worked out quite well! There is just a small car park dent on the passenger side quarter but think he's going push it back out for me!

yeh they are the ones! If I decided to go there I will let you know and u can pop over! My boyfreind said they have a 1000bhp skyline too! He saw it when he was on a track day at mallory sounds a bit of a beast! They have quoted me £285 manifold back! Seems fair

I'm very happy to now own a GTi I've wanted one for nearly a year now hoping it's going to be worth the wait! Not worked that quick tbh! He has had a bare shell in the booth for a couple of weeks and wante it sorted and primed before it came out so work didn't properly start till the weekend! He's just been doing bits and bobs to get most the primer sorted! Now it's in the booth it's full steam ahead

front window isn't a problem just took the window guide rubber out so there is no seal all around the window! He has gone just under the rubber on the back window but he doesn't hard mask like some "body shops" do! He first things the propper way! He does all the shells for MGB kit cars for midland restorations because they were amaised by his car! He has also done a couple of max power cars that have been in the top 100! Not that the max power is something to be pleased of lol! His work speaks for itself! As he says his buisness is based on reputation and not money! These days that is hard to find! if you want better quality coilovers for a couple hundred more £££ then wait a little wile! i have something in the pipeline at the moment Kam Racing are also interested in selling them all being well! watch this space

forgot to post this up yesterday! it came just after the manifold! i saw it in Ernies when i was looking at GTI's and fell in love with it so had to get one Ben went to the body shop today! hands are like ice! spent most the day wet sanding making everything nice and smooth and getting rid of high spots. paint didnt arive the company didnt have enough Pearl either so the painter had to drive over and get it from another company at 4 so early finnish today! the car is all masked now just need the polythene sheet and then she will be ready to paint! here are some pics of today and how she stands now! so happy with the rear quarter its perfect

No I don't think so still gotta be painted! But time will tell
