  1. doesnt suppprise me for a dealer. most people are gullable and would just say get it. Stealers
  2. wouldnt supprise me! that price seems good for dealer prices! i would think it would come in 4 pars the main headlight then the bulb the ballast and the igniter but you would only need the headlight but there still not cheep! maybe the second part is the screw on back?
  3. Little update... Ben fitted the headlight washers and windscreen jets today ready for the mot also fitted LED side light bulbs so shes all ready. just got to sort out the rear number plate bulb and she should be good to go still need the part for the drivers side washer jet as the clips are broken off but will order them tomorrow. and orderd yesterday the Following... Cambelt Kit with all tensioners Aux Belt Water Pump and seal 2x Aero wipers for front and wiper for back and got my Magnecor Leads and new Plugs to go on so shes getting there. 10. more has gone on since this! havent updated for a while! isnt far off completion now! some more pics.... full write up on the thread here... http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?t=191067&page=5
  11. ahh i see! they seem to be thicker to compensate that rather than the 3 barriers they usualy have the ones on my focus rs have the barriers these ones for the gti seem to have a thicker area for both the plug and at the top of the cam cover
  12. ive read a few times allready that the ignition system on the gti is heavily worked. im sure these leads will do a better job of helping that than the standard ones! also one of my leads have had it so i would rather spend £60 of my hard earned with a company with a much better back ground in the ignition side of things than waste it at the stealers and them be no good sooner rather than later! we will see how they will perform. the pictures are also just for illustration purposes so probs not the actual ones as the 1.4 coil pack is in the same place as ours so can see them coming with a 90bend i can see the standard ones are doing a good job on yours casper and as they say if they aint broken dont fix them but if they do fail and prove not to be upto the job in time im sure you would look into making that part of your build stronger? time will tell will let you know how i get on.
  13. the reason i went for the KV85's was to keep the standard look with red leads! there isnt much in it between them all price wise
