Right last week i noticed oil up the boot off my car (valve stem seals) so tonight i took the head off and came across this, pistons covered black in suit like stuff is the normal or bad, could someone give there thoughts please, it would be most appreciated sorry if the photos are clear thanks

the car has been sitting for about 4 months alot of things been goin on, anyway painted the wheels, new starter, discs and pads, gear selector seal, timing belt, and a good clean. only done 2k in it since last august, heres a couple of pictures, what you guys think??? Thanks

last year i got caught (speed gun)60 into a 30mph i got clocked at 59mph, stupid i no, i got 4 points and a £150 fine and to be honest it dosent do much to your insurance put mines up £40 a year, anyway good luck mate, and learn from your mistakes, i have but they say its always better to learn from other peoples mistakes

ok my inner cv joint broke on my car about 4 weeks ago, just got round to fitting the new joint last nyt ( yh i no 4 weeks ) anyway where the rubber bit bolts on the gearbox it is a thin bit of plate that gos over the round block where the bearings (if that makes sense) which makes the round block 3mm bigger and cause of that it is eating away at my engine sump. Do i just grind away at this plate or do i get another inner cv joint?????? Thanks

Engine sealant (ebay) Is this stuff above any good for re-sealing the rocker cover its for my golf mk4, its to stop oil goin down my spark plug wells will this stuff do the job Thanks David

yhea mmmmm, i struggled lol but i have bought another roof and am still trying you have to glue a thin bit of foam to the roof then the leather and then stich in the squares, my girlfriends mum works with sewing machines in all that she just needs to find time. not sure if the foam will be to much, just for putting it on the car. i'll keep you up to date
