loop on steelies

clutch will become heavy, and about a week before mine went it cruntched into reverse, and didnt drop from 5th to 4th gear very well, it will cost around 250 to 300 quid to be put right. but if you find a loop with full vw s/h it will be free,as is rust if the car is under 12yr old vw will repair. hope this helps tom

ill back you buddy i have rust on drivers side rear on roof on guttering,ill go first thing as i didnt no vw should repair. be nice for an argent at vw. last week peddle box now rust lol get ready, if we all go down the trading standards route an bbc maybe something may get done. oh mines on a Wplate with 71k ,

probably mines had 2in 71k,best thing to is put sum extra welds in with it still on the car

its only 37ish quid for the peddle box, and around 200quid fitting with vat its 276 all in. just weld it up

mine had some vw s/h wi 70k om clock and would not fit it on good will, vw no its a problem,and some thing needs to be done about difective peddle boxs! jct600 vw wakefield say nope vw barnsley say nope vw leeds say nope vw huddesfield,guess what,say nope should be a recall, but yet were left with a bill for 276quid to pay for vw misstake! even tho peddle box went,the door locks dont work and she nowt but trouble a still wouldnt get rid for a corsa saxo lol

mine also does this but i change plugs and leads and put a bmc box on it about a month before it started, more excuse for that induction raw at the lights;)

mine went last week and its the same symtoms mine was showing so yep its on its way, oh vw have changed there goodwill policy and will only replace if your loop has full vw sevice history,so i ordered the peddle box from them and the welds on it looked a bit poop so i took the broken one out welded extra plates on an popped it back in, on took other peddle box back, if you do fit it your self remember to order shere bolts,and its a night mere of a job, vw will fit it for 276quid including vat and peddle box, but why give them all that money when peddle box is only 32quid and will take you a days work. also vw know its a commen folt but shud be a recall, like it is in the gti i think? hope this helps fella

when i smoked my headlights i undid the 3 or 4 screws at the top, and the 2 corner bits your tlking about, all you have to do is lift them up and they slid off the 2 clips either side, then take the 2 pins out of the car either side an put them back in the grill before you replace, and they will clip back into the car with a little tap on the corner of the grill. hope this helps tom

thanks for all your feed back lol turns out peddle box had gone, vw orderd me the part for 36 quid but want 200 to fit it,ive been reading alover its a commen problem and that there should be a recall on it?! vw also said they would fit it on good will if the lupo had full vw service history, but what would that matter if it wouldnt get checked at a service anyway?! its a commen folt VW put a recall on it

its the rocker cover beather pipe thats come out of the air box, get it back in before it sprays oil all over engine! hope this helps tom

is there a sping at top of peddle? ano its sounds silly but its dark n just a moble for light

can anyone help,my clutch cable feels tight were ajuster is under bonnet but the peddel wont sping back, please help need it running for the morning regards tom

so is it possible to swop locks over from one door to the other? if not 60quid dont sound bad

same has happend to mine i have to get in passenger door an climb across , mite have a look at taking passenger lock out an putting it in the drivers door if its possible?
