  1. Well i've just tried MoneySupermarket.com and got £287.97 with Swift Cover. No changing things, that's just what came up. I'll be taking that when I get my little Arosa.
  2. Finally got a quote from their own website at £536.92. I put down uprated brakes but it never gave the option for braided hoses. Worth a try.
  3. There is always some small fine print somewhere. I'll try it on their site and see what comes up. I've just tried my mates CL500 and that company said unable to quote.
  4. Found this on another site! http://www.cadred.org/Forums/Thread/48606/ Just tried it for my leon and it works! Don't fancy my chances of the company honouring it though! £192.94 for the year for me for my Corsa 1.6 16v. That's down for £340. "add a modification, add that you have Braided Brake Hoses on your car" It's a shame i've just taken my insurance out
  5. I'll take the points!!! When it was renewal time for my insurance in Dec, I forgot to add my 3 points to my quote. So I went back through the quote and added them.... The final price was... an extra £30! That's it. £10 per point! It wasn't worth not telling them and vioding my insurance if I had a bump.
  6. Your shocks will be sitting too low. Try running fast with your hands on the floor. You can do it but it's going to put your back out. The standard shocks won't last long with really low springs. Yes people do say to change the shocks lower than 40mm for shorter ones but if your car is getting old then there isn't any harm in getting a new set even if you've only lowered it 30mm. If you can't afford coilovers then either wait a few more months and save up or buy the springs now, then in a month or two buy some new rear dampers and then a few more months later buy the fronts.
  7. Just thought i'd post in here 1st and say hi to everyone. I've not got an Arosa yet but i am on the look out for a 1.4 TDI on a 02 plate or newer. I've got a Subaru Impreza WRX (don't hold that against me) forsale. Fingers crossed that'll be gone in the next few weeks then i'll have the cash to buy the perfect Arosa for me. I've got another car that i'm using everyday which is going to be my track car. It's a Corsa 1.6 sport and it's already stripped out. I'm doing about 20k a year in that.
