  1. im gettin genuine vw rear speakers coming on tues. the part no for these are 5z0 035 411c. they cost me £20.21 each. imo y spend best part of £60 on speakers and adapters on rear speakers as most of the sound that you will here is from the front? go with the £40 set of genuine ones.
  2. ow. how did that happen. i think its good to see the crumple zone, crumple and the passenger comparment ok. (i assume as the rr window didnt smash) hope your ok and it gets fixed soon.
  3. nice choice. i have just fitted a bluetooth hands free kit and an audi ipod connector. i have got my rear speakers coming on tuesday, im not to sure weather to get tt chrome pedal rubbers or r32 pedal rubbers....they both fit. with my choices i have always refered back to www.volkswagen.de (vw in germany). i had a look at the exhaust tips and i was wondering...have you got the right one for your car. there are a couple listed varying on engine size etc. in theory the tips should just slide over the top of your exhaust?! it might be worth while getting the part no's off of vw germany and see if ur local dealer can help. good luck with the mods.
  4. hey. i have a fox. great car. has any 1 got a vw ipod connection in there car?
  5. im going to when i get a chance but that may not be 4 a while. i also posted this so ppl can know the part no's of these sports accesories. i will keep u updated with the out come.....
  6. im not to sure bout these part no's. they should all go in to vw parts system ok but im wondering if they are available in the uk and also how much they would be. these arent listed on any uk vw website but if you try volkswagen.ie (ireland) or volswagen.de (germany) they are available. 5Z0 071 609 GRU - front sport bumper 5Z0 071 610 GRU - rear sport bumper 5Z0 071 685 GRU - sport side skirt 5Z0 071 640 GRU - rear spoiler 5Z0 071 360 - rear tail gate chrome strip 5Z0 071 910 - rear exhaust chrome tip 8N1 064 200 - chrome pedal covers 1J0 798 535 - r32 chrome pedal rubbers im not too sure bout the r32 pedal rubbers if the y would fit on the fox. the normal chrome rubbers are listed on vw irelands website and list the above part number. when searching that number on the net it says vw beetle rubbers and lists the r32 ones as a further option. any help would be much appricated...it would be amazing if they work!!!
  7. i have got me hands on a geniuine vw ipod conector kit. i dont think i will have too much problems fitting it but i was wondering where abouts the wire that connects to the i pod ccomes out from. i asume its in the glovebox but i was wondering where vw would fit it. does any one have the dealer fit ipod connection? would someone mind posting a few pictures. i would be grateful. many thanks.
  8. i regret not getting a fox with more extras on. i ordered an urban fox with the luxury pack and an alarm and the dealer put the order through. several weeks later (just before the car was due to arrive) the dealer told me that i could not have the luxury pack and/or the alarm with the urban fox as the pack is not compatable. as the urban part is built in i was told i couldnt have the the alarm and the pack so all i ended up with is an urban fox with a/c. the dealer did refund me the difference but if i had known when orderin the car i would have chosen other extras instead. i hope u get the fox u want, and u have a better experience then me. good luck

    hey hey!

hey. i thought i would say hello. my names dave i am currently driving a 2006 1.2 vw urban fox (she's a beauty) which i have had from new. i seem to have a love hate relationship with the car as it seems to be always going wrong. (lucky its still all under warranty). im a car mechanic and hopefully will be doing some subtle mods on it in due course. i will try and get some pics of my fox up in due course.
  10. i didnt get offered the leathering steering wheel, gear knob etc but i did see it on vw website the other day. when you select the leather steering wheel it says that it removes the steering wheel reach adjustment function. im curios to know why this is, can it be over come, and also can it be fitted after the vehicle has been made. any help would be much appriciated
