Arosa 1.0 - Throttle Potentiometer Problem, Throttle Body? Easy to do?
Arosa90 replied to robomilo's topic in Seat Arosa
Im in the process of replacing mine, ive had problems with my car being sluggish for a year and a half and we've just found out it was the potentiometer. It was easy enough to take off its under the airbox, well it is on mine anyway its just a matter of unscrewing 4 screws and unplugging a couple of things as you have to replace the whole throttle body. I've just bought a new one off ebay for £150 and my local garage has offered to calibrate it for nothing -
another question, which will suit the Arosa better? 5 spoke or multispoke? Im looking at an offer on some 15" Kei Racing Fuji, what do u guys think? =)
-
well Im going to order my alloys and see what happens, if Im not happy my dad has agreed to fit lowering springs as my bf has managed to persuade me haha. Where I live we have lots of big bends and it will be nice to feel like Im not tipping over every time Thanks for the advice guys
-
looks like im staying on steelies, Id love to lower it but my bf's car is dropped and I hate being in it but it does look good
-
ah ok, im not bothered about lowering to be honest,I just want something other than steelies
-
offset is 38, just not sure wether to go ahead or not until I,ve had some advice

Hey guys, I know the reccomended width for 15" alloys on the Arosa is 6.5 , im looking at buying some alloys but they are 7.5 width, will they still fit? Thanks in advance
-
Mine costs £12 because my dad changes it, he doesnt change the tensioners everytime. He usually changes tensioners when they need it. The belt was near enough at breakiing point when i got it and i dont have the money to be getting it done at garages
-
Mine gets changed every year no matter what amount of miles it has done, for the sake £12 it might aswell be done
-
Cheeky sod haha Ive found a way to lock it now
-
My central locking has died again but this time it will open but wont lock, drivers side window doesnt open either. Any one got any ideas? or any one had the same problem? Thanks in advance for any informaton
