  1. look at the factory iso plug in the car and look at the power plug and on the top row 2nd pin in that should be the remote/electrical aerial out http://renmiata.no.sapo.pt/images/rns_mcd_pin.jpg the connection you want says safe on this image test it with a multimeter not all vws have this if not connect to the ignition live labelled ub+
  2. no such thing as a plug in you will need to buy an rca convertor from any good car audio shop alternatively does the amp not have a high level input on it
  3. if you really want 2 (unneccerssary)rca's then just buy a Y splitter so you can then have 2 phonos
  4. here is a step by step picture guide to buil a fibreglass sub box no in a lupo this is my mk4 golf do not use tights if you want to do a proper job use proper fibregalss fleece this is only a couple of mm thick but when fully soaked with polyester resin will expand by around 1.5 and when hardened will have the same structural rigidity as a sheet of 18mm mdf i can supply the fleece if needs be
  5. more power is no comparison to a well made and specifically designed csub enclosure
  6. i mean 1 phono thats the same as rca out you do not actually need 2 rca/phono signals say for example you had a sub with 2 2ohm coils and want to run it off 2 amps you would need an identical signal to both amps to ensure that both coils get the same power so all you would actually need to do is split one signal into 2 with a y splitter then split it again at the amps to simulate left and right signals but both channels would get the same signal you can actually do it at the amp without splitting it but it generally would be quieter as the amp uses the left phono input as the positive signal and the right effectively becomes the ground side of the signal
  7. one is fine some sony h/u's only have one sub out
  8. not accurately without a voltmeter and a clamp meter even if you did actually know what its true rms rating is does not mean it is doing that as it all depends on box rise current draw impedance i could go on what amp do you have what sub and coil configuration (single 4 ohm or dual 2 for example) also what size power cable
  9. better sound quality and improved soundstage adjustable crossovers(some models) for tailoring cut off frequencies etc
  10. hi guys thought i would sign up to this forum as my daughter is looking for a black lupo soon i own a mobile alarm and audio fitting business and i am lookiong forward to helping anyone with audio and security issues here is a pic of my current in progress install in my mk4 golf cheers ken
