the illumination lead cnt see that not powering it up though if it does what it says on the tin (illuminate) but mine is the same and just has a blie plug if i get the illumination lead where does the other end go ??? oh and mine has all 3 plugs but only connections on the blue one any ideas ????

i took the vw gamma hu and changer out of a mk4 golf and there was only one wire between them so i cant get the vw unit to work in the arosa so i got a seat unit and it works tried the changer and it wont power up any ideas

need to know this aswell just tried to plug in a vw changer into a grundig 5201 and it doesnt power up ny ideas

just done this on mine didnt make a note of which pin goes where but its pretty easy to work out dont cut the wires just remove the pins and swap them round well worth the effort

and there already fitted thanks lauryn looks loads better

does any one have a list or diagram of what each wire in the power plug for the headunit does cheers

i bought i gamma to put in the arosa and it wont switch on it lights with the sidelights though any ideas

as title really got a 53 arosa sport and wondered what lupo was the eqivelent eg. same spec angine you know just something a thought about thought you guys would know the answer

hi guys i am also a member of club gti manchester and we have a meet every third sunday of the month which is tonight . we meet at the cheadle royal pub near to john lewis just of the a34 seee map there is about 10/12 of us who meet without fail then a few who come when they can just thought if anyone was in the area they could pop in. im not trying to poach anyone from other sites like peeps do just would be nice to meet other likeminded folk in the area and see some new cars . hope to see you there cheers

hi just got the wife an arosa sport 53 reg and have been given a vw beta cassete player i have the code but the unit fails to switch on it has power as it lights up with the side lights anyone any idea or have a single cd tape cheap must be oem vag cheers
