  1. No, it is turbulence problems I am talking about.
  2. This is because you can't see the air. Believe me, it does make a difference. This the reason why for example the CDA has got on the entry point a sharp edge.
  3. It will make a power difference. You arer asking for a custom job really. If I have the exact measurements I might be able to make it myself.
  4. It would benefit to have it all the way through with silicone. But you need at the entry point a trumpet to get the best out of it when using the CDA.
  5. You can decide this on the day. And there is no obligation to have anything done. Red Dot welcomes spectators as much as anyone else. One of the points is to let everyone know what re-mapping is about, what induction and exhaust design is about as well as other aspects of tuning.

    CDA vs DIA

The CDA and the DIA differ internally quite a bit. Also the filter shape is slightly different. The filter shape of the CDA is quite good but is a bit of a let down by the missing inverted plastic cone at the end of it on the exit side. The second advantage of the DIA over the CDA the better flowing throat. And finally the filter/housing mouth is better on the DIA than the CDA, which is not as crucial when a properly designed silicone hose is before the CDA with a proper trunpet at the front end of the silicone hose. However the CDA can be flow improved by being internally reworked.
  7. He asked the question and I answered. And I do not care if I get banned. It doesn't change the truth! And your language is pretty low anyway. And to your information Autodelta is the tuning division of the Alfa Lancia SPA and not a crummy little company in Acton who uses a name misleading people. And even more frankly speaking: You are the looser who wants to pretend things that are an outright lie. So if this is a reason to be banned then this isn't a place worth being. BTW it might do you good to think about the quote you have in your sig from G. B. Shaw.

    CDA vs DIA

Spending most of my life with the development of induction kits I rate the DIA higher than the CDA. There is distinctive differences between the two. Since you are going for sound you might as well go for the cheaper version, which is the DIA. But then there is some alternatives that are sounding very good and will set you back even less.
  9. Having had one of our 280bhp 147GTA conversion winning by over half a second at Santa Pod three times consecutively against a wannabe Autodelta 3.7 conversion. Every map sold by them never has given the quoted increase. And these maps were easily improved. Also Mr Jano has been sacked by Novitech for trying to copy their stuff and for doing some other things. The list is quite long. Even Peter K who worshipped Jano on alfaowners has had his bad experience by now.

    Re-maps

    You are quite expensive.
  11. Here I go and thought Trax is about cars. Ooh, and hi.
  12. Exactly what I would do. Although you have touched on the weight, most of the people do not really get the point what it means to have less weight over the front wheels.
