Ok just had a quick read of this thread. Are the final designs/colours decided? I'm interested in buying but A. have no idea how and B. don't know what the final designs look like. We could do with a CL store lol

Please could someone tell me what make they are and where is best to buy them from. eBay is just full of retro-fit versions instead of standard aero wipers for the Gti. Cheers, Chris

It's the mileage that's the key piece of info for me. I need to know the car hasn't been clocked. Does the 3 quid include what mileage the car should be on roughly?

Where do you buy a roll from please? I just got some recently from Claire which was very nice of her. I could do with more for future use though.

Evening all Just wondered if anyone can help me. I'd like to check out a cars history, mainly the mileage and owners. As far as I can find the only way of doing this properly, unless you know someone on the inside at the DVLA, is to do a HPI check which costs 20 quid. Can any of you CL brainiacs help? Cheers, Chris

I'd defo go custom. My fav one on here is the one Clairey has on Snowy. I intend to try steal it at some point lol. Anyway if you haven't seen it try find it in readers rides. I guess the manufacturers do really good ones too but it's all down to personal preference.

There is an upside though. You know exactly the condition the car was in under it's last owner. Nothing is hidden or covered up. Your buying a car exactly as the last owner had it. I know it's not how we like to buy cars and I certainly wouldn't buy one from there but still it's an interesting point to note.

I was in there yesterday while my Lupo was at the VW garage pretty much next door. I was having a look at two Mini's that they have. They also had a nice Gallardo and various Golf R32s with some seriously trashed original alloys. Some of the cars they have have been there for years. Particularly the ones in the trees away from the building. The red Nissan 300ZX convertible comes to mind. I think the trees grow through it

I was in that area yesterday. Went to VW at Crosshills and drove back through Skipton and eventually Otley past all the reservoirs.

What I try do is drive late at night when the roads are quiter. I hardly use main roads during daytimes as 60mph driving in rush hour with lorries etc is what wrecks the bonnet. Yes we should try get a group buy together. I'd be far more confident using it if my car were a solid colour, certainly black. I can't imagine Raven Blue being the easiest of colours to match. I may need a spare pair of boxers lol

With it being a random summers day today I've spent most of the afternoon messing with the car. Checked all the levels etc and then washed it throughly. Anyway my question really to everyone is what tips does anyone have with regards to stone chips on the bonnet and also if there are any decent polishes/waxes available or should I just use T-Cut?. My regular polish is Mer which is pretty good in terms of polishing. I need to get some red grill trim too actually. Might need Claireys help with that.

Oh right. I was in a Clio with mates anyway so you wouldn't have seen me. Was heading to Elland Road. I go through Armley and Bramley on Saturdays when Leeds play at home.
