In my *ahem* Fiat, the first half tank disappears in no time at all, then the needle slows down.... Probably something to do with my right foot getting lighter as I realise the next pit-stop/wallet emptying is getting nearer! or the wildly inaccurate Italian gauge!

Hello all Joined up the other day, so I thought I'd show my face! Been dreaming of a Lupo GTI for a long while, and now finances will allow I'm on the prowl. Went to look at one the other day; 51-plate, 6-speed, 75,000 on the clock - windscreen price was £4995. Sound about right? Budget is around the £6000 mark, so my head is saying wait for one with fewer miles, but I'm like a kid waiting for christmas at the mo! Cheers, Paul
