  2. No worries. Removed you from the list. I'm hoping nobody else drops out now or the day may possibly have to be cancelled.
  3. My colleague mike has a set of Weitec springs which are brand new for sale. He bought them for his Missus a while ago then dumped her. As far as we know, they are a 60mm front, 60mm rear lowering! Also got a set of powerflex bushes for the Mk2/3 Polo! Make me an offer if you want them and I'll see if he'll sell them. Think he's after around £45 or so. Text me an offer if you want em

  5. If it wasn't mine, Yes I'd thrive on it lol! March/April shouldn't be a problem!
  6. No worries at all mate. I'll be going through the calendar this afternoon to work out the X-mas closing dates and thus which weekends we will be doing the rolling road days on next year Would something in the new year / Middle of January or Early February be appropriate?
  7. Single barrell rollers so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll get some pics so you can see what I mean. My only concern would be grounding the sills on the actual roller, however clever use of wooden planks should aleviate any issue. ** PM Sent Mitch! **
  8. Hi Greg, The manifold itself will fit the 1.4 16v 75bhp as it uses the same manifold flange. The only thing I'm not 100% certain on is the diameter of the standard exhaust on the 75bhp Models. The GTI and 1.4 16v 100hp both use a 2" Diameter pipework. I'm unsure on the size of the pipework on the 1.4 75bhp but am lead to believe it is the same as the 1.0's. It would only really need the extra lambda boss fitting and a reducer sleeve making up! For Reference, I looked up the part number on the Exhaust manifold gasket for the Sport/GTI, Engine codes AHW, AKQ, APE, AQQ, AUA, AUB, AVY and BBY all use the same exhaust manifold to head flange. Following this I have now checked out the part number of the connecting sleeve that goes between the downpipe and the centre box for all of these engine codes and it does appear to be the same. With the looks of things, This manifold should indeed fit the 1.4 16v 75bhp engines! Hope this helps, Regards, AL.

  10. Okie doke! Nice one Garry Like I say, there's plenty of people wanting to go on, We've only had two pull out so far, so not too disappointing, But would be ace to have a few porsches to make the day interesting

Lal B3N - Arosa 1.4 16v Sport 8. chrisc - Arosa 1.4 16v Sport 9. IDGM - Altea 2.0TDI Just a quick reminder to you guys, It is important that we receive payment before 8th October 2010, otherwise the rolling road day will need to be cancelled. Cheers guys!
  13. I don't think club lupo have had a rolling road meet now since November 2008! Should be a pretty good event!
  14. Yes, this was wrong and was quickly removed after I noticed our I.T. guy had cocked up the listing on our website. The standard cat sits right on the bottom of the original manifold. That way it isn't possible to re-use the standard cat on the Ashley Manifold. We can now get hold of a 200 cell sports cat to suit the Ashley Manifold. Please see the latest update on the manifolds in the Awesome Section!
  15. Nice one Rob, that'll be great. I'll probably be PM'ing the people who haven't paid over the weekend, so if you get a message and have already set a date to pay, don't worry too much
  16. A lot of the time Warped discs are caused by one of two things: The first - Incorrect fitting procedues: * If the wheel hub flange is not cleaned up properly with a wire brush, it can cause the disc to sit ever so slightly un-even on the surface causing heat spots on the disc which eventually cause it to warp. The second - Hub Runout * If the actual wheel hub flange is warped itself, this will cause disc after disc to warp! If this is the cause of the problem, you would normally only see one side of the vehicle warping discs. It's also possible to warp discs by keeping your foot on the brake pedal after coming to a stop from medium to high speed. Again this will cause heat spots.
  17. Thanks James 1. Sarah_Diamond - Lupo GTI 2. Robgti - Lupo GTI 3. 99hjhm - Lupo GTI - PAID 4. Copeycupra - Arosa 1.4 16v - PAID 5. MarkS - Lupo GTI 6. We need 6 more payments to confirm the day
  18. Just a quick reminder, we need at least 10 power runs paid for prior to Saturday 9th October. If we don't have sufficient payments before the 9th, We will unfortunately have to cancel the rolling road day and any advance payments will be refunded!
  19. Not a problem Sam! Thanks for letting me know! I know it can't be helped. If you do manage to get it sorted in time, As long as we've had a minimum of 10 payments, There won't be any problem in you paying cash on the day! Hope you get it fixed soon! Cheers, Al.
