just the 1 belt mate that goes round everything are you changing the alternator or just the belt?

wo0ow thats alot lol well i stay in scotland in a wee village with around 10 houses and my car is in the drive way or in the garage and obvy i told my insurance about this! but am also 19 (was 18 when i got my gti) was driving for one year when i got it and i am paying 820 a year fully comp and most of the extras like brake down cover etc. the where you stay does matter and so does eveything else, this is why they do ask you these sort of Q's that you might think are daft! this is a good site but because its a site mainly about the one make of car there does tend to get alot of Q's asked over and over again so people do get pissed off as you would also! edited my spelling lol sorry if its still not perfect

well am only throwing in ideas lol if its the springs then you have to get the wheel up to speed to hear it thats why test drives come in handy! also again if its pads you tend to get wee metal shims inbetween the pads and carrier and these can pop out of place and rub along the disk when pressing the brake! or it can just be rubbish parts been put on the car and that its them causing it lol

no brake pads left or if its shoes then there metal to metal! if not that then again if its shoes 1 of your shoe springs has came of and is againest the drum and shoe

sorry a bit off topic but but see the rear seats in the 2nd pic have they been photoshoped in because it does not look right where the bottom of the seats meet the carpet as i would have thought they would have looked thicker and also in the same pic but the drivers seat this time form the window down to the floor it looks odd lol

well thats quite weird because i checked the 'definitive coilover thread' ages ago and never even seen the word v maxx coilovers on it other than the a review on the kit so how am i supposed to know that they are the same as the philj ones ? i also tryed the search on them and nothing came up so why the lots of uz go start taking the piss before you here me out? its the same with new members that have never been on any forums and there not sure how to use it but again its the same guys that take the piss!

lol and thats another thing that i dont use is a jet washer i think some of them are just to power full! i just dont like them lol

lol i clean mine more in the winter because if the road salt! sometimes clean it 3 times aweek lol and the summer its normally 2 and a hover once a week lol am a clean freak but having a lupo and just washing it then going out a run then the back is dirty again does pee me off a bit lol

its your cat that the smell is coming from! is it a new cat you have on it or what age is your car because what i found was when i used to work in the mot place it was most of the cars that were is for there 1st mot that mostly smelled of egg dont think there is a way to fix it! it will just go away!
