i hit a pretty big pot hole last night and smashed my rh cup! i now need to get a new one so what is the best web site to buy a single wheel i have tryed but not seen any rh cups am just looking for someone to point me in the right diro! cheers ross

i do relise that and they mean baiscly nothing! i asked would 5 grand be around right as thats what everyone else is trying to sell there gti's this age, millage etc. for! i am not trying to sell it right now as if i was i would have put it in the for sale bit but i am trying to look for a rough price

am sure it was tamsworth or polesworth the guy was from which ia near there as i bought the car in the train station of brmingham and he stayed 20mins from there! i would but i dont know you and wouldnt really like to put all that pressure on you on finding the garage and then having to get them to stamp it ! thing was when i got the car the book was stamped at 40,000 miles then 1st thing i done was serviced it then stamped the book so i took up the places of where they should have been stamped lol but cheers anyway mate

no just for the reason of me taking it all off again then having 2 sell the full exhaust because i welded the cat to the manifold joining peice! u would be aswell just to buy a brand new one for £100 form ebay!

its a 02 plate, i bought the car from a guy just out side brigingham so the garage he got it serviced at is down that way and i stay in scotland near glasgow lol so its abit far for me to just get the book filled in!

yes i know scares me abit when i am read to sell lol would £5000 be about right as i have had a good look about and they are going for around that

well is a lupo gti moonshine silver 6-speed around 85k on the clock just your normal gti spec non a/c pipercross induction kit (non cold air feed one) raceland manifold - standard cat - 2 1/2 inch cat back stainless steel system which was custom made only 1 silencer service book has been filled in untill 40k by vw deeler then the owner before me still got it serviced but never got book filled in but i have receipts to prove it was still getting serviced and i have had it fully serviced, timming belt and kit, water pump, alternator belt and pulleys, fuel filter, oil and filter, brake pads, brake fuild change, gear box oil change, coolant change and a new radiator when i first got the car and then serviced it again 5k later (1 year later) and done oil, oil filter, fuel filter and removed all brake pads cleaned, greased and refitted! book has been filled in! it is lowered on 40mm springs just now which are all fine and still the paint still on them, shockers are standard with no leaks and in good con wheels - 15 inch 7j rh cups which are fully polished with a red lip, wraped in proxes tr1's with like new thread as i have only done mayb 400 miles since put on body work - i have just got the front end fully resprayed - bumper, wings and bonnet by a proper body shop with the number plate recess smoothed in! washed every 3 days by hand and sponge, it has nver seen a power washer since i have owned it as i think its sore on the paint lol and polished every 2 weeks the interior is just the standard gti interior black with red through the seats and red door cards, no rips or worn bits on seats and is hovered out weekly vaxed mayb every 1-2 months in all the car is in great conditon and the only thing i can think of it needing is a rear high level brake light which i would replace before selling the car if i am lol so how much do you think its worth ? will get some pics uploaded soon cheers ross

to be honest i thought it was the best cruise i have ever been to but there was quite alot of carry on lol also seen a another silver lupo gti 51 plate with ats cups which i thought were 8inch lol and also mr loopy with the green lupo lol i had my 02 silver gti with me with the polished rh cups with red lip and a squint bonnet haha aw aye and the smc was quite gd also but the main hall was a bit disappointing only really the top 50 cars n that was all, but last year the whole hall was packed with more interesting stuff and the top 50 and also seen wee graham with the red gti which is really tidy and the girl with the purple lupo with audi front which both were in the top 50 !

is that a genuine vw part or some other companys as some times there can be a manufactuars fault in them basicly like an odd ball! i woul take it back and show them and then get another one to make sure? or unless some one has changed it before and put a golf one on or the wrong one?

yeah basicly mate the higher the octane the purer the fuel if you have standard fuel like unleaded 95 which i think means 95 units or cells or what ever you want to call them and then you get 5 units/cells which are additive's as i think its out of 100 not to sure how it works as you can buy the bp fuel which it 105 octane which i think is just straight octane fuel and then if you go any higher then its the metinol stuff lol if any one seems i am wrong help me out as i am pretty drunk right now and i am sure i have got 95% of it right haha

no you cant change the ignition timing on your sport as its got a coilpack ingition timing can only be adjusted on distirbuter engines, i wouldnt bother with the race fuel unless you have upgraded your engine bits like piston's, rods, cams, headwork etc. also you would need a remapable ecu to gain any real benifits form the fuel as it will need to get mapped to the fuel you use and once you do that you cant go back unless you get another map to normal fuel! for a race car yes racing fuel is good but a normal road car no lol edit: also your lupo fuel flap will say what fuel for you to use like 97/98 i have tryed tesco 99 and not noticed much but it still gives your engine a good clean

you can do it as i asked before and some one on here showed me how 2 do it but i never got round to fixing my stuff till today!

no other way about mate i its already connected to the amp i want to know where to connect it to the standard vw headunit

when i want to fit a sub and amp to my car using the standard head unit where do i put the blue wire ? i have tryed search because i had asked it before and only got round to fitting it just now and cant find my old post a pic of diagram will help alot cheers ross

sorry for bringing this up but when you say 256/252 camshafts, is the inlet 256 and exhaust 252 or other way around, are these fast road cams and what is the spec of the standard cams? cheers ross

yeah sorry they are lol as i have said before my spelling and writing is terrible lol what i mean was i swaped my old alloys for the rh cups tht weren't that old, that only had minor curbs marks on them! and for the refurb i did do it all myself i took the paint off them and the marks out them then polished them! "i had them fully poilshed and didnt like it that much but i went with the red because it was diff and i was planing on getting a red roof vinyl" when i say that ^^ i mean i had polished everything the spokes, dish and lip and i didnt like it so i painted the lip red!

sweet dude looks mint.... im liking yr number plate recess smoothage too.. how much did ya pay ?? is yr bonnet a slight shade diff ?? yeah get the roof done the same colour or side mirrors or both !! will look sweeeet !! any more future plns where u based ??
