bought it when it first came out mate and it cost a house .. bout £700 for CPU if I recall.. run it at 3ghz now... it gets too hot without watercooling.

Temperature gage that is ! noticed the other day -- been driving 20 odd miles and temp gage read ice cold - not moved. Got home - turned off then back on and it went to normal.. Dunno how long its been doing it - just kinda noticed it. Any ideas ?

ok finally got round to getting the Alpine out of the BMW. Has everybody had to wire directly to the car battery or is it just the Alpine draws more current ? Will have a look tomorrow at installing it. I also bought a VW adaptor kit from Halfords while I was there.... did I not need this - aint looket at it yet but I guess I can take it back. Also will be installing the amp tomorrow hopefully - I guess I got to run some more wires to power this from the battery.... or is there some power near the boot area I can use to power the amp ? Why dont they put batteries in the boot !!!! like the BMW --- so much more easier to wire up ... oh yeah.. the lupo has no boot - just a glovebox in the back Anybody got pictures of there installs where they wired up etc ? Anything would help.

When my lady first got in the new loop she thought that the seat belt was odd. Mine is fixed to the little silver bar and slides at the bottom. Hers comes out of the slit in the plastic - goes in there and out. This dont seem right - or is it ? Drivers = on the silver rail Passengers = in and out of the slit. Can you check yours for me people ?

Previous owner fitted the Cup Kit to my Loop. Really reminds me of the Mini when I first drove it ...... Point it and it stears there - suspension seems mint really and no body roll now - not sure what it was like before hand - A little bumpy on rough roads but liveable. Anyways off out now with my mechanic mate and his Mrs... he apparently knows somebody who does remaps - wanting that done. 100bhp in this thing should be even better

As I came from Scooby STi .... to BMW 328i... to Lupo TDi.... after putting up with a bit of stick.... `Look Con... somebodys just ran off with ya Lupo..... Wind took it yet......Is that Tom and Jerry on ya seats ?!` kind of comment.... I can actually say I ENJOY driving it home ! Everybody who has looked at it has been impressed... then when we went out for a meal the other night - 4 of us were in it.... and it drove really nicely. Dont think Ill ever go back to petrol now - as the way the country is going ... insurance costs.... fuel cost.... .tax costs..... Im really happy with the loop for driving to work. Aint even missed the boot space yet to be honest - the shopping fits in there with the seats down ... the Vibe box just fits in so all is well - and cant believe how the factory stereo sounds with just 2 speakers and tweeters in the front ! Although this is getting changed to my Alpine etc. But like the above said - drive them both and make a choice. Just my little 2p worth

you sure its unlimited ? read the small print.... as far as I know aint it just Virgin Media thats `unlimited`but then they just `slow you down` when youve downloaded a DVD full still lets face it - anything they wanna know they will anyways... what you got to hide ? :)

can you give me some info on what it achieved compared to standard - where you got it from - cost - any problems etc. thinking about getting it done. any help appreciated.

ok - its fecking windy and freezing ... but as Ive got a bulb out am gonna stick in the couple of enhanced bulbs I got from Halfords. Is there anything in particular needs doing in changing these.... or is it like the beemer where you could do with a hand from Jeremy Beadle (RIP) .... ahem pardon the expression

Yeah sorry - dumb post. Just the bulbs. Thought a manual might be handy - removing door panels ... with hidden clips etc... you know the ones you pull and then go oops. Didnt know that was there. Or maybe thats just how I work

Good post I think the problem with the Lupo is the massively varying price they go for..... one minute there a certain price... next minute they are going up again. Is it the cheap tax for the Tdis? Who knows. The people who have got in mine in the last week or so have been pretty impressed with the (adequate) power and space in there for 4 people ..... `Tardis` like..... but hey boots are for a Sub only arent they

Ok have got the VW Gamma tape (!) HU and single CD player..... pretty impressed with how it sounds..... but no MP3 Have got Alpine 9812RB from old car.... but maybe fancy something else. Was looking at double DIN stuff... not a lot to choose from. Any thoughts ? ok according to the service book @ 68810 oil service - yes inspection - yes air filter changed - yes brake fluid changed - yes all others no.

Hey all. After doing a few 50 mile runs in the last few days... (economy is brilliant ) Im not sure whether there is something wrong with clutch / something else... or its just that way... Seems quite juddery when pulling away on a morning.... clutch needs to warm up ??? get a bit of a rattle dashboad wise...... Mike who I bought it off thought the clutch was quite high but got it checked and was ok.... anything to look for ? or are they like that... maybe stoopid question but Ive had auto for 4+ years .... miss that in the traffic jams tho - but not the economy.
