Fuel consumption on a GTi
Shteee replied to McBeardy's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Use the search, this topic must come up atleast once a week -
90% is short journeys. Along with usually accelerating quite quickly i fully understand why i only get 180 miles to the tank. Obviously the MPG is better when iv taken longer journeys to Hull or to shows etc but i dont tend to go very far at a time. Also alot of the short journeys are town driving and its very stop, wait, start etc Hows fuel consumption on the GTi now youve charged it Andy ?

Buy a GTi.. Then you can cry about fuel consumption I wish i got 280 to a full tank

Is this what I think it is?

Sounds like it might just be blowing because theres a hole in it somewhere. If thats all it is then it wont cost much to repair. Mine is doing the same at the minute but il be replacing my whole system with a Bastuck system soon anyway so im not too fussed -

If you had looked around the site a little more you would have found these multistud fitment Wellers http://www.mach5wheels.com/catalog/102-Spu...ort-334336.html They have 4x100 stud fitments which is a direct fit for a Lupo and theyr also 13x7's, im just not sure how the offsets would affect practicality etc Steve

Ive always used Paisley Freight to deliver any of my car parts. Ive sent and received quite a few sets of wheels and large car parts and they have always been sent or received in very fast time and in perfect condition. Not only are they pretty cheap but after dealing with them a few times they slightly drops the charges for being a valued customer https://www.paisleyfreight.com

Theres quite a few of us just up the A1 at Lincoln

You will have no problem with size inside mate its like sitting in a Tardis. There is a surprisingly decent amount of size in the front. Cant really say the same for the back seats or boot though so you only need to worry if your not in a front seat

Sadly il be working that weekend so wont be able to come out for the ride. I do however very luckily work at Frankie & Benny's which is right next to The Pride of Lincoln so make sure you guys pop in and say hello. I get breaks pretty much when i feel like it so should be able to pop over to the Pride anyway
