  2. cheers mate always feels good when other people compliment your car doesnt it i love the front of the new ones but im in love with mine now!! the steering wheel was just because it was kicking around in the garage and didnt cost me anything! its leather and smaller than the original too which i prefer cheers Nathan
  3. hey guys been on here a while so i thought i better get some pics up here she is as i bought her a new steering wheel from my dads first car (sentimental value and all that) old type of 6 bolt though so i made an adapter and a custom horn button and key ring (god i love abusing college's machines) who said you couldn't fit a friend in the boot of an arosa New lights (makes the car look newer from behind lol) i also polished off the chrome lettering and asked my sister (art student) to paint inbetween the letters so you can still read it! latest edition is the new wheels BBS RA's fitted today done some other things like LED side lights, new stereo and some 6X9's in the parcel shelf (thanks to LittleRich) but no pics im sure you've seen it all before including the car spent about £1500 i think :S i dont think thats too bad on a budget? what do you guys think? cheers Nathan
  4. mine clicks and the door drops slightly as u open it when you wiggle the door the bottom hinge pin wobbles also the check strap just isnt attached on the passenger side :S like it when i bought it i will get round to fixing it honest!! any body know the part numbers for new hinges and check straps beacuse my seat dealer is crap last time i enquired about hinges they said i need to buy the whole door.... IDIOTS!!! cheers

  6. as an employee of Hellfrauds (halfords) i can recommend the tomtom one as an easy to use basic satnav but i prefer the Garmin Nuvi 200 series they are cheaper than the tomtom and i prefer the menus on this and also at my store we have a LOT of tomtom units back with problems its very rare that we have a Garmin back. but if we do the returns policy is different on the garmin compared to the tomtom's as if the tomtom breaks down then it will need to be sent off for repair however with the garmin if it cant be fixed over the phone to garmin they will replace the unit in store!! (both scenarios based on units still within their warrenty (12months)) cheers Nathan

  9. hey guys it was a fuse but why has it blown?? should i be looking for dodgy wiring?
  10. hey guys my wipers arent working!! some cold mornings they dont work but then after they have warmed up they work. however this morning they didnt work at all or again all day!! and the washer jets dot fire anymore either!! help please it may just be a fuse i havent checked yet but what would have blown the fuse?? cheers Nathan
  11. you can get the acoustic carpet pretty cheap off ebay!! stops them gettin nicked!
  12. cambelts are usually good for 100,000 miles however because they cause so much damage to contact engines the give you a lot of head room for belts that have been abused or are damaged! cheers

  14. hey guys recently passed my test and now have a Seat Arosa mk1 i dont want to spend loads on her but i want her to look suitably looked after! wouldn't mind fitting the mk2 rear lights to it also some alloy wheels are on the cards! cheers Nathan
