cool i'll try that if it doesn't help then it'll be a garage job............althou i managed to get vag-com to read the ecu again and it came back with no faults found. but light is still on.

managed to get the codes its p0171 but cant reset it because i've not got the full version on vag-com:( system is running to lean what can be causing this and would it cost alot to put into a garage? cheers chris:)

hey not been on here for a while.......well on ma way home from my usual drive tonight the engine check light came on now i've got a usb to obd cable (not vag-com cable) and wondering if theres any free software to pull the codes from the car computer? also as i got in i went to check the engine bay and the bonnet release catch broke off will this go back together for do i need to but a new 1 and how much is it to buy from vw? any info will be greatly appreciated. this morning when i started the loop i got a wee puff of smoke from behind the steering wheel anyone else had this. everything still working fine all lights etc went off no faults with airbag though i did have the clock spring changed in the past. any idea's?

they'll ask for proof of purchase, like you should really get a receipt when you buy fuel but dont think much people do, i dont but i think thats what they would do.

a mate of mine who's a mechanice recommended me to get 1.6 injectors and put them in my 1.4s? would they actuallt fit? would i get more power from gti injectors? could they do harm to the engine? any feedback would be great. chris

is it possible to get the passenger airbag disabled or removed etc. i was hoping it could be done so i could get the bby seat in the front if not i'll just have to live with the back seats. cheers.

since i got my loop lowered 40mm ive had the same experience but also the wheel shakes at 50mph onwards is this normal or worth getting it looked at?

yeah i got mines fixed scot free they paid for everything they even put my lowering springs on too! had sum smoke from behind the airbag last week but as far as i know everything is still working fine light still goes off. if they removed it and caused the light to come on they should fix it scot free if not involve trading standards i was gonna but they dun it for me anyway:D

we all must think alike then lol. also is packed in rar then you need to burn it to dvd or cheat and use a program called vcd control tool from microsoft

its through isohunt etka its about 1.10 gigs but its a pretty fast connection i'm also uploading so feel free to download.

so i installed etka last night after a whole day downloading it, and every part for the loop is listed, also every car VW & audi have made some pics follow... main screen 1.4/1.6 cam shaft will do more pics if needed.

went to pick up my wee loop tonight after pedal box was done, started her up and bomth the damn light stay'd on so the mechanics buggered around with the equipment and it read airbag resistance to high and it wont reset anyone know what the problem can be? have to take it back on friday gettin it done foc ofcourse.
