  1. Blue GTI Parked on A635 Near Holmfirth (Every Day), looks mint.
  2. Tired bulb? Still working but lost its edge a bit.
  3. Thanks for the info on the door straps, I've found out that the tool needed to move the door keeper in is a spline tool, its like a torx but with more lugs. Just need to work out what size!
  4. Help, Driving home tonight, car is running right as rain. Then as I accelerate in the traffic, as soon as I get over about 20MPH I get a weird flapping noise. Best described to be how you'd expect something wrapped round the drive shaft slapping the bottom of the car would sound. (no it's not that) If I roll in neutral, no flapping noise, if I rev the car in neutral no flapping sound. Any ideas anyone? I can confirm that it is on the passenger side, and I do have poorly shockers at the mo, soon to be replaced. I had a quick look underneath with a light, but can't really see anything. Cheers LL
  5. They're ok actually, but they look better off than on though. I might photoshop the silver one on and see how right or wrong they look! Thanks for finding them. LL
  6. My Lupo is black, thought about the black based Arosa ones, just not 100% sure they're for me. Cheers
  7. Hello, I'm ashamed to admit that my Loop has the dreaded Lexus tail lights, the only redeeming factor is that they were on it when I bought it, not inflicted on the car by me! Obviously they have to go, I'm not a big fan of the standard lights, but are these better or worse than the Lexus yak? anwers on a postcard please, or even better forum reply Cheers LL
  8. Hello, My doors are a little wayward, but look like they just need squeezing in a bit by moving the keepers. It sounds like the window is down a bit when driving at speed becasue of the lack of pressure on the seal. Does anyone know what tool I need to move them? It looks like a Torx 9 million or something? Does anyone have any tips on door tweaks. My doors creak and crack when opened and closed and feel notchy as you pull them shut. Cheers LL
  9. Really, really really really want one of these. I have a reciprocal deal with a few of my mates that if they ever win BIG on the lottery they have to buy me one, and vice versa. Has to be this colour too!
  10. Hi G-Man, Thanks for the info. good to know my Turbo is kicking in when it should. I have the service book but no reciepts from prev owners , so no idea what's been before. Maybe it hasn't been mapped, but i like you idea of a compare to a definite standard or map. I'm in Holmfirth out in the sticks. Couple of people at work have loops, but all petrol. Cheers LL
  11. Thanks, any recommendations without breaking the bank?
  12. Hello, Going back to that 1.4 is a 1.9 less a cylinder, does that mean you could throw the 1.4 turbo bits on a 1.9 block and have a 1.9 Turbo Diesel Loop Monster? That could be entertaining! LL
  13. Cheers DK, I'll get it checked out. May go for a full replacement of all 4 shockers to be sure, probably standard ones tho. Is it possible to get stiffer springs that don't lower the ride height anyone? Or am I better to go for -40mm front and rear. I Don't want it bone hard, but I hate the body roll.
