out of intrest why cant the corrado calipers be used ?

Got a 1.4ss which will be undergoing some changes, but first of all after reading on a few forums knowone seems to be able to confirm what i need got some sport/gti hub carriers, is it just the 280mm g60 carriers and calipers i need (and disks obviously ) as ive read th g60 set up differs in various ways any help would be excelent

Just about to order a kit, but had a thought about 60mm lowering, will it be ok, or start the problem ive read about with the drifeshaft hitting the chassis rail ? also any pics on the 60mm and 40mm kit to compare, cheers jr

the car is a 1.4 16v AHW non sport, i know this as its my brothers car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> havet ben on here for a while but i rememer reading about the raddo upgrade, didnt realise it was for sports only though, the cars running 15" G60 steels, so clearence isnt a problem, what else stops the corrado brakes from fitting

tigz when you say disconect it, do you mean take it off the pump, or cut of some of the pipe still attacted to the pump and cable tie it then if its the second on, i did think of this, but thought it wouldnt work

seen it on a few lupos before where the rear wiper has been removed and a rubber bung put in its place think it looks better, and the fact the the motors gone on my bro's lupo means it may be worth doing only problem i can see it what to do with the washer jet, only why i can see it working is to re-route the rear washer pipe back into the front ones from the pump anyone done it

90bhp is about the limit greg, quite a few people off here has seen various diffrent figures with serial port remapps, either a bit mroe power or a bit more drivability Jabba and Revo bith do remaps on the AMF engines codes, and they claim between 85-90bhp

TBH mate all VW dealers have got such high prssure qulaity systems on them alot of them cant keep up, they have an inhouse quality control system, a VW one and a yearly VQM audit all of them are a nightmare, some delaers can live up to them, some cant, and thats when they lose the franchise

stick throttle bodies on it, same type pf price, much more drivable, same power roughly, more reliable etc etc

was told my our sales manerger on friday the new 9n facelift will have a 150 PD TDI lump
