Hi, My mates just got some new leather seats for his A3. but he cant work out how to remove his old ones. has anyone ever removed some of these before? they dont appear to be bolted to the floor so makes me think they need to be slid off the runner some how. any help would be appreciated

Yeah i like the jvc but think it might offset from the dash too much cos it looks pretty chunky! i looked at the alpine unit in halfords but as i say theres alot going on making it look abit cluttered. think im edging towards the jvc. im confused cos if its sound quality i want then then the jvc prob isnt as good as the alpine or pioneer? but im drawn towards the look of the jvc. decisions decisions.

thats nice mate, iv alsways wondered what the handsfree quality is like on these new headunits? do you have to shout when speaking?
-
what one did u go 4?
-
Iv been looking for a new head unit which is Ipod ready. iv narrowed it down to the following..... Pioneer DEH-P7000UB Alpine IDA-X100 JVC KD-AVX22 3.2 touch screen monitor I think i prefer the JVC, i like the idea of the alpine but not sure of its looks, too much going on imo. Has anyone got any of the above who could comment on their personal opinons. or does anyone know of any other head units worth looking at that iv missed. dont wanna pay more than £280

U could always get an in-dash multi changer?

Right, iv managed to get hold of a brand new alternator for £50 . fitting it today so hopefully that will be problem solved.

Axel stands really arnt that expensive mate. plus u could really do with the jack to lower the axel up and down when re-aligning the spring.

oh and where is the best place to get one delivered from? or would i just be aswel going to the dealers? need to get it by the weekend at latest
-

Over the weekend i noticed my battery light flicker on and off a few times. yesterday the light turned on and has stayed on since. driving to work this morning and the ABS light has now turned on and what i think is the seat belt light warning light is also on. When these lights came on my cd player turned off and my lights dimmed. Is this just my battery thats dieing or is my alternator nacked? the car started fine this morning. has anyone else had this happen? Thanks
-
Yeah i agree, id go for BR03WNR

Im guessing his car is newer than 2008 then? when i was looking for plates i kept on finding good ones then realised i couldnt have them cos my car was too old!

u think it would just be better to buy some of the Bosch ones from halfords? How easy are they to fit? -
