  1. Lupo rear wiper motor. Looking to get rid ASAP, really want to shift items I've taken out of/off my Lupo so they aren't cluttering my house. If anyone's interested, reply or DM an offer (honestly don't be afraid to lowball, so long as you collect/pay for delivery I'm open to any price). Also have bits of rear trim (boot, rear seat area) and the original radio. Again, open to offers. Based in Huddersfield HD5 for collections, DM for exact location if interested.
  2. Update, finally got it fixed. Snagged a calcium battery for a tenner, plopped it in and now runs like a dream. Thanks for the advice!
  3. Thanks for replying. Would I need to replace the battery entirely or just give it a good recharge?
  4. Hi, looking for advice if anyone can help. Went to start the Loop to keep the battery going today (don't use it a lot) a week after I got it back up and running after doing a recharge from flat (was away for a month). The electrics are on, aftermarket radio was working as well as clock and lights. But the car won't start. There's a low amount of fuel, around 1/8th but I'd think that'll be enough to run for a bit. When I try to start, the car electrics cut out. At one point something happened with the indicators where the neutral position and down position did the opposite things. Once the key comes out the clock/miles start back up again. I'm not sure what the issue is, maybe faulty ignition? Or a bad battery because of how it died when I got back? Though last week I started it up a few times, all successfully. What does everyone else make of it? I'd be grateful for some advice.
  5. Thank you! Tool worked perfectly and the job's now done. Surprisingly easy(beginner with anything to do with working on cars so expected worse) bar that.
  6. Hi all, I've began dewipering my Lupo and most of the process has gone smoothly - except for a ring of wiper arm remains still being stuck. I've taken off the 14mm bolt (seen in pic but since removed) but how do I remove the remains behind it? Its giving me a lot of bother. Once that's out I can pull out the mechanism and get the boot trim back on, keen to finish this final step. Any help much appreciated!
  7. Nicest photo I've taken of mine.
  8. So this is what I've got to show off. 56,000 miles since '99, learning to drive in it as its my first car and I've gotta say I'm enjoying having it. £700 was the cost. I can't believe how much of a step-up in quality it feels compared to, say, an equivalent Ka/Saxo/other city car than probably a Smart, to say its in banger exterior shape and for banger money it feels proper. Done a few jobs on it - wheel nuts, MOT repairs - but there's a couple of things still wrong. Bumped it into a hedge so there's slight front bumper damage and I wish it was wind-up not electric windows (persistent issues). Other than that... loving the thing. This forum's been a major help, btw. I'd still have a wrong clock if I didn't use Club Lupo!
