    Paint

The paint code is usually under the boot carpet on the white sticker with the chassis number and other codes on it. If not it could be in the hand book for the car if it came with one.
  2. I was told when I bought mine it was the same steering boss as a mk2 golf. You might be best checking though.
  3. Glad you sorted it, It might be worth putting some tie wraps round the clip so it doesnt happen again.
  4. I had the same problem with mine, I pulled the handle inside the car and it didnt do anything. What I eventually had to do was pull the grill out undo the bolts that hold the bonnet catch and pull the bonnet up that way. The reason why it wouldnt open was the bit that joins the cables together (its on the lefthand side of the engine, a black tubular clip) had poped open so the cable wouldnt pull properly. I broke some clips on the grill taking it off but I thought it would be better than chopping the bonnet up. Hope this helps and good look with it.
  5. Sometimes when the bumper is painted and baked off it can warp it with the heat and how it is positioned on the stand, that might be why it is a bit close to the tailgate.
  6. Hi mate, Put a polo rear wiper on my mk1 aroas a few months back and it is loads better. All I did was take off the cap covering the nut, take off the 13mm nut, pull the old wiper off and bolt the new wiper on. The main thing when you put the new one on is to make sure you adjust it so it sits right and doesnt go off the window. You need 3 parts if you decide to do it, the wiper arm, the wiper blade (i used a passat estate one) and the cap to cover the nut. There should be a thread with the part numbers somewhere (think is in the how to/information thread). I also get a pool of water in the catch bit, as for price i think it was about £22 for all three bits or something like that. Hope this helps.

    My Arosa

The roads are shocking where I live and the entrance into work has potholes and a masive cobble hump that the front bumper only just misses.

    My Arosa

Cheers mate, saw your readers ride thread and yours is looking good. Wish I could go as low as yours.

    My Arosa

I think you might be able too if you heat them up a bit, its just you can see where they join round the lens so I would have to do a spot on job re-sealing them.

    My Arosa

Not posted for a while so I thought I would take some better pictures. Done a few little bits since last time, new aerial, rear wiper, and painted my rear drums black. Hoping to get to Edition 38 this year and getting chance to chatting to some people so hopefully I will see some of you there. Cheers for looking. Steve.
