  1. The easiest way would be to use a scapel blade, and a bit of warm water to help lift it off, used to use this method all the time when i was a valeter, pretty much impossable to scratch ur glass depending where ur tint ends should take u 1hr at the most for both
  2. I was actually gonna get that colour but the loop i looked at the clear coat was peeling off it so didnt get it. I will openly say i think its a wicked colour and love it although it kinda of is a darkerish copy of SEAT's kiwi yellow Cupra paint which i had before my loop.
  3. QUOTE(BReal)im northern too - bradford, and we all live in the middle of the road and drink bitter from a toby glass and I have a flat cap and a wippetLMAO so thats 8 now style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. QUOTE(LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI)The exhaust on my Gti was made at Ascar in Sheffield. I agreee they are very good, no problems with my exhaust and its been on 20,000 miles now. Still looks shiney although the flange for the rear box is clearly only steel as its rusty as hell. All the pipes and box are spot on though, the back box is even polished up!Its all steel mate style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> they just polish it up, thinkin bout going back for my new un
  5. So by the sound of it the centre exit zorst is actually more restrictive than the boggo standard normal exit due to all the bend and stuff although sometimes more back pressure is better. Anyways ive had a powerflow good job done. But the last zorst i had was hand built by exhaustsuk in sheffield and i have to say they are one of the best, they showed me the underside of a impreza with quad motorbike cans they had made the system `de-cat` back and it was ONE piece, they had wielded it and polished it so well it had NO seams. What about a zorst coming out the vw badge on the back with the badge on top. Out the roof? They can make anything u want and its the best quality gear your ever likely to see. Unlike many others they actually fabricate the rear box's themselves as well
  6. Something small and deep style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> The rest is gonna be hard as im wanting it so subtle yet so mad at the same time oh and abit original
  7. What you lot think to this rear end? Im loving the wiperless window. Been thinkin bout the same matey style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> but think it could be bettered with maybe a perspex window  Now that would look `supa-dupa` style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  8. Soz all Ill say Northern England nxt time  So thats 7 of us so far, any more for any more including the arosa dudes?
  9. Cool i might do that then, then at least i can see if the wee alloys will fit under the archs ok
  10. How many of us are there?
  11. LMAO style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I kinda already do, infact I try to park as far away as possible from most cars. Although i was worse when i had the Honda accord i took spaces up by parking exactly with the white line in the middle of the car. What my probs gonna be now is i want alloys but if i get them the cars gonna look daft as the rolling radius will be smaller and will make the car taller looking, but if i get it slammed itll look just as bad with the standard steelies. choices, choices :?
  12. sending it now matey will mail some more once ive scanned them
  13. The greeny brown lupo mate  Its 2 tone ill show ya if i manage to scan and host it some where style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  14. Im getting anything between 55 to 74miles per £5 fill up from me 1.4i 75bhp well happy with that style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  15. Tis really embarrassing when u crunch into reverse, it feels like everyones looking, I tend to clutch twice and dont have any crunching but i tend to forget when im in a hurry, think its a bit to much hit on miss, although on me cupra i had the same problem at first but seemed it went away when i got a heavy gearknob installed
  16. Well Im still soaked as its peeing down with rain but ive managed it, I used Original Glide Gloss Mint flavoured for that fresh breathe smell, nearly cut my fingers off in the process so i ended up with one marigold washing up glove on whilst tugging away at the strip, looking back I must have looked a rite nutta crouched down in the rain with a bucket of kettle hot water and a sponge, dental floss and a florescent orange glove on style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Its well worth the effort, im not being soft but the car looks more bulgy now and also you can notice the fine lines of the car more. Whats more sweeter is it only cost me £3 (for the floss) proper happy style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  17. I take it u want the matt black ones? Oz dont make them anymore mate, so ur best bet is to post in the wanted section on all the main vag forums
  18. I had the same dilema but couldnt find an arosa to buy at a good price so got the lupo, well impressed with it. weight difference is due to thinner bodywork, plastics are from the same company, its just down to personal taste. I really like Seat always will, but im loving me lupo all the same style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  19. I usually do the car properly once every 2mths. 1/ Rinse car with hot water. 2/ Using natural sponge and a bucket of pipeing hot water and about 5 capfulls of tar&glue remover i give the car a once over not appling any pressure apart from the natural pull down of the sponge, then concentrate on the heavy deposit points with abit of pressure and a wee bit neat tar&glue ie just off from wheel archs, bottom of doors/sills front and back bumper and bonnet and then the wing mirrors. 2/ Rinse down twice with hot water. 3/ Wash with autoglym gear then rinse, then wash again then rinse. 4/ whilst car is drying polish all inside windows, then using nielson vinyl cleaner wipe and polish up all interior plastics then hoover out then polish all inner door sills. 5/ once car is completly dry car polish using either autoglym or neilson (nielson being my favorite) leave for an hour or 2 then polish again. 5/ polish alloys using autoglym polish and elbow grease, pour some turtle wax tyre spray in to pot add some tar&glue remover in stir around then apply using a good quality paint brush. 6/ Apply nielson rubber gel to all plastics (exterior) making sure to go over any polish thats managed to jump on to the plastic. And thats about it. Just bought some zymol wash and cleaner wax (although its actually a polish) so if weather holds up im gonna see what its like, love the smell of it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

  21. Welcome to the forum the others will tell ya as i dont know that much bout all the models, but what i can say is that altern8 were and are still f'ing sorted
  22. Thinking bout doing this meself as i think it will unclutter the sides, but scared incase i pull off the clear coat.
  23. QUOTE(AndyW)Only one downside for me so far, the criminally crap head rests. Upsides, nimble handling, performance, size, design, exhaust, blue dials and zenons. I hated the front headrests as they tilted to much so i swopped them for the rears no probs now
  24. Very nice matey I remember ya from SE
  25. I was going to go to this but my loop is still boggo standardo style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
