Its came to that time again for a change of rims Im considering going as big as 17s and keeping my enigmas for crail and track days, has anyone fitted 17s on a dropped standard lupo shell??? Ive the gti front end converted with coilovers so i reckon itll take 17s there but my rear arches are one offs and Im not too sure if theyll hit inner arch as its a thick arch they fitted, bodyshop will modify it if needed but dont want to be without car for a long time again, Ive also notice the fuel hose is kinda near as well, so what u reckon will or wont they fit, Im thinking best with 16s just, suggestions please!!! Ill be selling the rims thats on it the now but someones already got first dibs on em from vag meet

It was a good day damn cold, I was well pissed at getting a flat on way up but I managed, got home today managed to get it on ramps with some rubbing. Garage took of wheel but ture was beyond repaird tire wall was feked so ran home again and took a tire of one of my spare set of rims! My rims are changing real soon, I think theyl look quite nice on ians

Ive always been one of the ones that goes out on a limb, have done it with all my cars, I was doing the in car screens etc many years ago about 8 years ago, now its getting common as muck. Well next mods on the way, have bought new uprated ballasts for my xenon gti lights and bulbs, going to fit em when front bumpers off gettn repainted and played with! While doing this gonna fit the indcution kit and possibly new intercooler as well, but the new ballasts and bulbs should make my vision even better at night!

yeah can get em from vw, my mate can get em supposedly pretty cheap, thats key and everything working with ur car think it was£50 mates rates, Ive been meaning to get one, one of the guys live over back from me works for vw so think ill see him about getting me it

My nos basicly work on same principles as well ownly its obviously much more powerful

it makes a hell of difference the cooler the air the much better, any tdi owner will tell u the colder it is the quicker it runs, the weather just now makes em rapid, cold airs denser so better mixture for engine, same sort of idea as petrol induction

vents for purpose not look, im not a vent man either, it really helps get rid of hot air though where it is it lets out all the radiator heat and will help with induction. Ive another bonnet going into production shortly, every bit as light but not as strong! lol The carbon will do for racing as light and strong and vented, new one being made will be for show use, ive never seen it done before but should look well sweet. The carbon bonnet comes up real dark in pics is life though its brighter and cos its carbon theres a kinda mad shine off it which at times is mirrored effect then silver then just real shiny and dark coloured just when dark! Its weird but most people whove seen it in the flesh like it pics dont to it justice

well wheels are changing they were just bought as a tempoary set, looking at bbs or porsche rims for it, the bonnets all carbon fibre, theyve made it as outer and inner then joined em they basicly made a a mould of original, theres one peice of steel and thats the tiny catch for the bonnet front as expected, retails normaly £400 plus thats on the cheap, I got lotsa discount to plug em in photo shoot, £330 delivered to the door. Its very strong and it copes with high speeds with ease 120mph tested lol

its 20 percent the weight of original bonnet, its twin skinned carbon, underneaths identicle to original bonnet even got the holes for the clips for sound deadning, underneaths just jet black, the vents are meshed, only time u actually see them is when u go looking for them the vents kinda double back on em self so theyre just behind readiator etc The reason I opted for vented is for the cool air and itll allow me to fit my induction kit to get better air and allows more room for a bigger intercooler. (can use some of the space where the original intake was for intercooler) The only problem with it was it doesnt have the holes for the washer jets, this could be sorted prob in 10 mins but im opting for somthing different, i may relocate em to window cowling or get wiper and jets all in one setup. At the moment Im happy with it being carbon its very smooth and has a very thick coating of gel finnish which means less chance of chips etc The car colour i dunno nearest ive found to it was satin silver vw paint, thats colou done my dash and looks same as bodywork

i didnt buy it till tuffers photoshoped it for me, thanx mate! I managed to get a whack knocked off the price as well, agreed id plug em in mag features an saved a fortune, took a hour and half to fit me and a mate done it, wed to keep slacking and moving brackets a little till it lined up properly, its turning heads brilliantly, its best in daylight with the carbon looking nuts

Im getting hassle the now with my rear lights and break light, id also boot lock trouble so disconnected it, think my break switch is faulty, it showed up before as faulty at vw on the computer, but it worked ok for about 3 months after, so gonna buy on and that will remedy problem for all it costs £5 Well heres some pics:

If ur talking this morning deo wasnt me, id been at pics then home, left loop at home all night, may take it out a spin down hamilton palace area, Ive modded it more ull know if its me trust me lol I did see ian othernight go into asda hamilton i tried to catch him before he get to speed humps but didnt make it, think that was last weekend. p.s if u see a nutter in a gold astra coupe its me, using that as runaround at moment, either that or kicking around in a fiesta or omega

spot on mate im agreement with that, i need to refit radar, i went passed a camera van in excess of 110, fotunatly it was a dvla tax van going by logos on side, id to drive back past it as went to fast first time lol Then i was straight on phone to paddy just to make sure for peace of mind their tax checkers only lol Ill get a pintout and `e-mail` everyone where all permanent cameras are located

change battery cover do search on ebay, ive found lots, 15 quid roughly im considering opting for a carbon design

Yesterday was talking to tuffers about me leaving my nos bottle open all the time, i did this for first two months of having it. I went for a refill so mate closed it took it out and refilled it and plumed back in. So ive been driving around for past two months with the nos turned off ive been flicking switch etc I didnt realise till last night, went out to close bottle to find already was, so opened it and took it a spin,bloody amazing, i was using nos at all for 3 months and ive still been mugging lots. How dumb do i feel, i thought id just gotten used to the kick off the nos, obviously not. Using it last night was crazy 0 to 70 odds in very fast time, may rig camera up with timer in real time to show how fast i can do it.

each could have a graphics for it, get wasted at the destinations, try and poss get somewhere we can legally race and play in em at final destination, its all up for suggestions that way suits everyone that does it, as for speeding, prob find ones that have small mini races will slow down after few mins so theyre not away from pack, i think it would be cool invading places especailly if get good wieather for it. Paddy suggest doing it along side santapod event, so thats a poss suggestions please!!!
