there is a lupo on ebay for 2.3k cat D needs repairing... id be so tempted if it wasnt the other end of the country

ill be honest the main reason for the change is to put some money back into savings, the Mk1 project has seen them take a battering recently so selling the TT to spend it all on a lupo, wouldnt make sense for me. the difference in MPG would take a long time for me to see any benifit from swapping. argh dont know what to do lol

WILL GO N GET SOME INSURANCE QUOTES ON A GTI? WHATS THE MPG LIKE? oops caps ideally id like to sell the TT n put a couple of grand back into savings... leaving me with say 4 -4.k for the lupo? does this seem reasonable?

ok guys/girls im looking at downgrading to a lupo what are the main differences bewteen the 1.4 and 1.4 sport apart from the 25bhp and exhaust? is theer a big difference power/ speed wise between them? the gti is that worth the extra money im looking for something a bit more economical than my current car but still a bit fun, my mk1 golf project will be completed in june... hopefully so thats goign to be my crazy car. i know a gti is still going to be slow compared to what im used to but sitting in traffic to and fro from work the extra mpg will be worth it and save me pennys to make the mk1 even faster current car is a 225 quattro TT any help would be grand

selling the TT most likely.. the mk1 will be my fun car, Got the mk1 in july but ive only been able to work on it sinse september so not going too bad imo haha... hoping for it to be ready for paint in january sometime ... then after that there isnt much else to do

no no i drive a clio mate, its my wee bro thats got a corsa he was reading me your posts as im somewhat of a know it all on keskins lol why go for the 9s on the rear if its going to cause trouble? surely better off with the 7s at ET 30 or something iirc corsa are 37 standard or something, if you mill too much off the 9s you will end up with them sitting too far in on the hub?

i some how doubt a rockford fosgate system will be found for £200 vibe are good, but it deopends what you are after (they are good for loud boomy installs not so for crystal quality) fusion do a whole kit for around the £200 mark which isnt too bad for a starter system. if he doesnt mind going second hand, pioneer alpine etc are good

i hate the chavvy exhausts on the 182, look like pathetic pee shooters. plus the only difference is the manifold that doesnt actually fgive 10bhp but i guess the clio 178 doesnt sound so good lol and cup... why? you get no leather if you wernt bothered about toys id deff go for a 172 cup as they are the fastest of the phase 2s, plus 182 is like 2k more for what is esantially the same car.
