im using the wheel offset calculator to help me choose new wheels as i want something a bit different, thing is i dont really know what im looking at how many mm further out can i go and how much clearence do i have inwards?on set had similar inwards but stick out an extra 56mm sounds far too much to me or am i wrong?

15.9 on a remaped gti before manifold etc this was at crail though and many people say theyr timing is out...need to get back in the summer see what difference it really has made

yeh i had a look around that rx8 owners club and flooding is common and she gave the local mazda garage a call and spoke to the service manager which she then found out it someone she known for years and has gave her lots of valuable info. shes really wantin somethin a bit more exciting to drive shes had a vectra for the lastt couple of years and is just fed up but needs something that will cater for the kids well i know she will struggle with the rx8 but i think shes been convinced she wants it.doesnt do a high mileage and petrol goes through a business account so it aint too bad cheers for your comments

seemed a genuine enough guy did mention the use of oil said it aint that bad and had a bottle in the boot of which type to use it has been his girlfriends car and just need the cash for their wedding.he had only drove around the corner to meet us and had driven it for a couple of minutes then switched it off when it wouldnt start. have to go up again tonight and have another look but on a whole is a very nice car. comment on the handbrake is exactly what my bro in law said lol

anyone have any experience of them.my sisters looking at one the now and wonders if theres anything she should know first? cant find much on the net.we had a look at one last night an 04 plate with 34k on it, only wanting 8 for it seemed very clean and drove well, when we stopped it wouldnt turn back on and the onwer assured us tht the battery had died as it hadnt been used in over a week.I wasnt too convinced you could hear the starter turning over but it wasnt dieng down and loosing power...also said theres a knack to starting it as its a rotary engine just need to pump the accelerator when turning over its what he was told when he bought it nd had it over a year with no problems... anyone think she should stay clear? he has lowered the price considerably due to his wedding coming up,and having two cars as it is.

i lowered mine right down and one side sits higher than the other, which u can see easily.bit annoyin not quite sure if this is what you mean...but think u just need to adjust to match...

mine on standard engine went to 135bhp and i think it was 116 torque with a custom map so thats about right wouldnt say it something i would have done first tho youl see better gains with other mods first and as said finish it off with a map.can get that power from a manifold...
