First of saturday, its started with the thermostat breaking and over heating the whole engine, so a trip to the local part and new one is brought and fitted within the a couple of hours... The carpet i picked up in the week from Amber, the lovely owner of the most beautiful lupo in my eyes, Alva! Thank you again Amber!! So stripping out the inside was a bit of a ball ache but ohhh it will be worth it! Black carpet finally! every Lupo should have this as standard! 10x better looking! alright back to fitting A good hoover and clean inside, yer its under the carpet, but by god it was grim!! now its sparkling!! Whilst i was at it, i fitted my new seat belts, all the grey will be gone!! Out with the old.... In with the new.... I fitted Black runners at the same time, going for that murdered look Here goes the final wiring and plumbing in of the seat wires.... Yes Electric seats!! Super clean finished and coming out of the heated seat/airbag slit int he carpet for that OEM finish. Seat brackets all painted up at the same time so they merge into the rest of the car. Male and Female caps on the ends so for a easy pop in pop out fitment if i ever want to change the seats. Note to self : Don't recover a boot build at midnight the day before s show you have to leave at 4 o'clock in the morning for.... Little rolling shot going into dub fiction at 7 in the morning....*yawn* Ill get some nice photos of the build and the interior once I've finished off all the little bits! more updates for you guys, aren't i nice!

  9. So there will be a good few updates this week, getting stupidly close to fittedUK!! Alot of parts are getting picked up tomorrow and some will completely change the look of the car. Sit tight guys, Bernard will look dope
  10. Okay so I've been looking forward to this post and i thought i would show you. I was going to keep it a secret till after fittedUK but can't wait that long, need to keep you guys in the loop and all that So at the weekend the driver side seat was fitted after searching high and low for the part i needed to fix this seat, it came to the surface that i needed to spend £245 on a new left hand side rail motor for the little part i needed.... Nah your good audi.... Julian the friend that is the mastermind behind the audi seat fitting, came up with a genius plan to add some weld into the mix and also a few files and well.... he's a legend and pulled it of and fixed the piece.... Picccccctures! Thats the final product and it fits nice and snug into the motor and works a treat.... ok ok I've kept you waiting long enough... Brings a tear to my eye.... Looks so rad and probably the most comfortable seat I've sat in!! This weekend the seats will be plumbed in so the electrics will work fully Now just to finish the boot build and Finish up the little loose ends in the car in time for FittedUK! A big thank you to julian for all the help he has given towards this pretty silly idea!
  11. daaaaaaaaamn josh! looking cleeeeeeeean!
  12. Went out shooting tonight, after giving the beauty a good old once over with wax and the lot....it looks stupidly like glass!! Peace ouuuuuuut
  13. Looking rad man! love the boot build
  14. A little update, After a few trips to different audi dealership and part places, the piece that i need for the seats to work is going to cost £245...yep a full new motor... which is a right ball ache. So my friend who is an absolute wizard is going to try and make me the piece so we can litter ally get the driver side bolted in and kept in the same place. To bolt them in you have to slide the forward and backwards via the motor, but that little piece is pulling us back on the schedule!! Pretty crazy to think I've only had the car 2 months and 2 weeks!!
  15. So this weekend that just pasted was a big one, I finished my boot build other than the recovering part (Waiting for glue to arrive) The seats that i drove 500 mile round trip for are finally getting fitted. this will be a big post so grab a cool cool beverage and put your feet up... Fir First off i actually had to find the bloody things....anyone want so parts haha! Bosh got them, a bit crinkly due to having a lot of weight on the m but there cool, these are easily the comfiest seats I've sat in... First off was getting them hooked up to a car battery and test them out and see if everything was work, this is where i found out that one of he runner wasn't working but we still pushed on, the brackets needed building so we took measurements and went to work shop! Let me introduce you to the mastermind and the fabricator behind the fitting of the Audi seats, Julian, the man with the plan. The plan was to make too steel brackets that fit across the old rails and bolt into the original front holes, so i can take these out and still run standard if i have too. we worked out a very sturdy design, a lot more safer than the original step by step on the forum. As you can see were using some pretty big steel piece so its not flimsy and won't snap if i was ever in a collision. its a quite simple process but its the measurements that have to be on point. julian really showed this and every bolt and hole fitted perfect. ok so heres the front mount in final fitting. yes it will be sprayed don't worry guys As you can see we used the original bolts, the safest and easiest option....if you have a welder that is! Final fitting of the rear bracket. You can see on the front bracket it actually goes right down to the floor plan for a sturdy finish This is where the build goes to poo, we found the problem with the seats. to fit the driver side seat we needed to slide it all the way forward to access the bolts at the front. this little s**t is what drives the motor for the rail....a trip to audi is on the cards. nothing is ever easy!! On with it... So we decided to go ahead and fit the passenger seat because the weather was being okayish. the seats sit quite far forward but with the electric's all plumbed in you can sit them rather bloody low and all the way back touching the rear seats. which I'm pretty stoked with. So this is the final product, passenger side...drivers will go in this weekend. annoying but there had to be a snag down the line somewhere. next up is the new carpet to go in and get the mounts sprayed up nice. Cannot thank julian enough for helping me out on this project, they look dope and really different. No one else runs the electric versions of these seats so I'm pretty stoked! Lets hope she's ready for Fitted!!
  16. Ok so its been a pretty busy day actually, had a free day so of course the lupo got my full attention. following up from the last post i decided again the rear TT seats due to them looking a bit rubbish so i can up with the idea of the false floor with a sub and a space for certain little tank that may be coming in the future..... But anyways ill shut up and let the pictures do the speaking.... And there it is via the medium of imagery.... It wont be left wood, i will be diamond cushion stitching suede fabric to cover the whole thing and also using hard foam to make the peice fit up to all the endges and look smooth and not all sharp, hopefully this will be done by fitted....no i mean it will be done by fitted!! Alex outtttt
  17. Ordered some very high temperature interior spray glue, so hopefully i can get this interior finally finished. Change of plan for the rear of the car inside. Im going to take the rear seats out and make a false floor with a sub build just until I can get some seats that actually fit nicely unlike these rear audi seats that really don't look OEM, too much gappage for me!! Thought i would just update you lovely people!
