  1. Right. I'm nearly at the end of my tether with the Lupo, and now he's done this to me! Went out to start him and the headlights were stuck on full beam. Prised off the steering column trims, and a small black plastic cover popped off of the left side of the actual steering column. This has revealed 2 contacts that appear to control the dipped / main beam. I cannot work out how to put this back together, a little silver thing fell out too and a little white pointy thing came out too. I gather this is part of the indicator / headlight stalk switch set? How do I replace this, is it a little part or do I need the whole central column switch-gear? sorry to be so vague but when I look at pictures of the stalk switches I can't see this bit that has come apart?!
  2. Hi Ya. If its got a grey interior I could do with a window winder handle and securing screw, and a sunvisor retaining clip and screw. Pretty please....?? (oh and a new gearbox for an sdi with 5 gears not like the 4 I've been driving round with for ages would be fab!)
  3. My Lupo SDI is currently on 155k. Still goes great and yep - all the ancilliaries are a bit tired and most have been replaced but the main engine is (touch wood) still purring away (thanks to a regular Cambelt change). TAX - get one post 2001 cos my 1999 was advertised as being cheap tax and as I didn't do my research I found out after I'd bought it it was fairly hefty. Do it, the running costs on one of the SDI engines is awesome, I drove to Bristol and back from Poole, Dorset for £26!! (about 200 miles cos I go a silly way!)
  4. Still need the rear adjusters at least to get started...... I'll just remove the assister spring from the other front and wind them up to match! BOTH REAR JOM Spring Height adjuster things needed. Get in touch PLEASE!! paulwilliams120@msn.com
  5. Having read this post I'm getting right into this needle around about 2k-2.5k region and I have to admit I'm enjoying it. Life feels alot less frantic and I'm loving not visiting the Fuel Station all the time. Thanks for a great post!
  6. Hi everyone. Put a thingy in Wanted on Classifieds but no joy... I'm after some bits for some 2nd hand JOM coilovers I bought recently. I'm after both rear spring height adjuster "nuts". They are currently just sat on the threaded section of the mount at the moment but I live in a road FULL of speed bumps so wanna have them a bit higher than scraping if anyone can help??? Also, I'm after one of the front "assister" springs and the blue plastic washer thingy. It appears the last fella was running it without and has adjusted the height accordingly but I want it running "as it was meant to"... Please PM me with any bits....I got Paypal baby!!! Cheers Paulo.
