it turns out me m8 got a c2 GT 1.6 with 110 bhp he took us out for a spin in it and i know from the ride my motor would beat his so no need to race the c2 is less pokey than i thought!!

i will give it a go in the sport a guy across the road from me just bought one a day ago so we will see how the little 1400 16v fairs up against his 1600 6 speed c2!!

if i ever get pulled i will fight my corner as i think they are more defined letter wise than english plates are! a no. 1 is actually a 1 not just a line and so on they are more legal if anything!

bought mine from dubmeister @ 50 notes a pair but go to Germanplates.com and i think they are 30 a pair

had to spend over 500 notes this weekend on the loop as various things decided to play up right in the run up to xmas! just had pedal box sorted at a garage for £30 an hour been there all day sat and 2day only to find vw dealer would have done it for free aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh german build quality is it a lie????????

no way thats random i got a balck lupo sport and the same happened to mine lastnite pedal just hit rock bottom no clutch all the bracket is shagged inside bulk head! mines been in repair all day at 30 notes an hour still not sorted yet! i would suggest rather than havin it welded in the footwell get the fuse box pedal box and steering column off and have the job done good and proper mate let us know how it goes

aint too happy with my loop had probs startin her last weekend and had the problem diagnosed down to starter motor, starter switch and the fan switch which cost £220 to put right and i was told id need a fan control unit aswell as thats broke! and to top it off this afternoon the mounts for the clutch pedal box decided to sheer inside the bulkhead and now i need some extensive welding to put right! the joy!! but i love my lupo really ps anyone know where i can get hold of the fan control unit cheaper than dealer??? thanks

i find that if i leave my loop for a while or the rain drives at a certain angle my tailgate fills with water so when i open it rain water gushes from the plastic boot trim and onto my parcel shelf!! anyone else had this prob????
