Ouch, how?! Oh I see, back wheel dropped into pothole and skirt got caught?

[rant] 1 week old tyre just been destroyed by a water filled pothole in the pissing rain. Split side wall. Local tyre place want £55 for a cheap budget one but can't get a matching one... ****. If it wasn't for the fact I only pay 30 quid a year road tax I'd be kicking off to the council. But I guess 30 quid doesn't fix many pot holes. What a rubbish start to 2013, changing to a spare in the rain. Ugh. [/rant]

Just want a square blocky headrest to be honest mate, really can't stand these ones!

I hate the standard Lupo headrests. Can't get on with them really, don't understand why there's a massive hole in them, not exactly the height of comfort. Has anyone swapped theirs out for some others? If so, what's a straight swap? I'm sure there's tonnes of straight swaps but I just want a rough idea ... Cheers and have a good new year Dan

Hate to revive an old thread, but are lupo's OBD2 compatible? Does this mean I could buy a ****ty android tablet and use it for all kinds of naughty things..?!

I have a kenwood double din in mine and have a friend installing a pioneer double din. Easy job really - just a bit of plug and play to get the main functions working. The only hassle is having to run iPod leads, mics etc through plastics and what not. But you should have no trouble

I've just had someone tell me most places wont remap past 100,000 miles. Well my TDI has done 110k, with full vw service history. Is this absolute bull or not? Surely once you reach 100,000 your car wont just decide it doesnt like remaps and on that theory, getting a remap at 99k is just as bad..? Cheers for your help

I love the diesel comments haha... To be honest, I like the laziness and torque of a diesel. Each to their own. If we all drove the same car life would be very boring. That's why we modify them. To be unique.

Perfect response - cheers. Has the gti grill swap be done before? Are there any guides on here or people that I could perhaps talk to? If its too much effort ill stick with the stock grill although the gti one would be nice. I did think it'd sit in a recess. Always the way! -.- And clever - like the mk5 golf then! Both of these questions have probably been asked 100x before but: Is there anyway of modifying a gti grill to fit a standard tdi? Also, the rear badges - does the vw badge leave holes in the boot if taken off or is it stuck on? Probably the first knowing volkswagens! And one last question... The seat arosa mk2 has no boot lock I've noticed... Is the boot a straight swap or are they different dimensions? Thanks everybody I appreciate it. Sorry if they've been covered before.

Weld your lupo seat sub frames on? Not quite sure how the seats look underneath yet so sorry if that's duff advice but its usually the trick.
