  1. Heated seats make it feel like you have pissed your pants!!!! The leather does look nice, but i have normal seats in my GTI and they are sound, really comfy. I agree with parking sensors why need them!!! Reverse till the back window is almost touching what is behind you thats where the bumper is!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  2. That dosnt sound right at all mate!! On a full tank my GTI will do about 260 miles average, and will do about 40 odd miles on the fuel light if i dont nail it much. Get dealer to sort it out ASAP otherwise you might run out again somewhere in the middle of nowhere. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  3. Not sure about the bulbs because they are certainly not blue when on, the main lights are blue as they are Xenon but the small lights in the middle are just side lights with normal bulbs. And yes they are bigger than the indicators on a non GTI. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. Had the very same thing happen on my old Nova GTE a few years back and was the Thrust Bearings in the gearbox!! Not cheap to sort i'm afraid and needed the gearbox rebuilding or replacing. Cost me £500 approx to replace with re con box. not good if it is this get it sorted ASAP as with all probs this will also be putting strain and wear on other parts that are not worn already. PS It sounded like a whiring noise.

Where abouts in Somerset do you live? Like the car looks really good in that colour.
  7. Well looks like a common problem then, any idea how they fixed them in? Seems stupid to take it to dealer for such a small thing, probably do it myself if i knew how!! :sarc:
  8. Got back to my car tonight after work and noticed that the little lights in the back bumper that light up the number plate had dropped out of their recess!!! Tried to get them back in but they will not stay and keep dropping out again!! Anyone else had this problem or know how to get them to stay as at the moment i have them held in with sticky tape!!! The Little ****ers!!! ??? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

Good Pics, Car looks nice. I think you should get the lower parts of ur bumpers (black bits) sprayed the same colour as rest of car, this will make them look alot deeper and give the front end a more aggresive look.
  10. Have the same problem on the 106 XSI i have at the mo, was told it could be the plugs or leads causing a slight misfire, or some damp has got into a plug. Try squirting some water displacer like WD40 on the plugs and leads or changing them altogether. I tried all this though and still does it, even hooked it up to a diagnostic machine at main dealer with no joy!!!!! Still runs fine when warmed up so not that bothered. Very frustrating though!!! ???
